The post show blues.
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" - Dr. Seuss
I'm struggling to follow that very idea right now.
Struggling big time.
To say that my little venture into being an actress in a stage production has effect me, is a gross understatement.
It brought back so many memories.
Mostly good ones.
Well.....mostly.
Memories of my time as a musician.
Memories of my television show with Kinga and the crew.
Memories of being a part of something. Something that mattered. Something fun and touching and thoughtful and something that might stur those feelings in others.
Something that made me proud. Something that was steeped in teamwork and camaraderie.
My time with everyone involved in the "Affirming Love " production was all that. And more.
And now....poof ! đȘ it's gone.
And I feel horrible about it. Like a big chunk has been torn out of me.
Passing the initial audition, the months of short twice a week rehearsals, the week of fine tuning, the shared nervous energy and the glow of the aftershow celebrations made such a shared experience for us all that the feelings were hard to deny.
But this is not an uncommon feeling for anyone who is involved with something similar.
I now understand all the footage of the gut wrenching good-byes at the end of movie shoots, tours, sports team seasons and more.
Realizing that all the people you came to know and develop a bond with are now just....gone.
It messes with your head.
At least it did for me.
I tried to soak it all up during that last performance. Just appreciating it and trying to savor the time.
A favorite story to come out of that day was one unique to me, and others like me (you know what I'm referring to) and was incredibly validating.
In the woman's dress room, one the younger actresses asked if anybody had a tampon.
"I do!" I exclaimed.
I do actually carry a few in my purse for just such an occasion.
But she added questioningly " You do?"
I said "yep!" And got into my bag.
She replied with "Thanks, I thought you might not have one because you may be beyond the age where you need those"
" I am that for sure. I said. Then paused
"Plus other reasons" I added.
"OH MY GOD!" she said apologetically realizing the implications. I didn't think....I'm sorry....I forgot, I just know you as Madi!"
That felt like the best validation possable.
The post show celebrations were admittingly tough though. Each time others in the cast had friends and family greet them with congratulations, flowers and hugs.
Or all three.
In a glaring example of just how many people care enough about me to come out to my show and offer support and encouragement, the total number of visitors at all three shows for me was zero.
ZERO.
So I got to stand on the sideline and watch as others basked in a little bit of notoriety.
Reminding me how utterly alone I am.
So now what?
I don't know. I did join a booking and talent agency to see if maybe anything might happen but it's not likely.
I feel as though my involvement in "Affirming Love " was just a perfect storm of coincidence and luck. Never to be repeated again.
After all what are odds a production will need an older transperson to portray a facilitator (like what I do at work) in a play about LGBTQIA issues and work with people who have very little acting experience ever again? LIke in this instance.
Probably about the same number as the visitors I had come to the shows.
So in the mean time I'll try not to let myself slide down the Downward Spiral of depression and anxiety and just go back to work.
And keep my eyes open.

Could you possibly write something with FO!Poe Dameron having a secret relationship with Resistance!Reader? đ
Here it is :)
The Hidden Nest
FO!Poe Dameron x Resistance!F!Reader
Warnings : secret relationship, enemies to lovers, mentions of war, sexual innuendo, mention of oral sex (M to F), mention of children, fluff fluff fluff, angst.
It feels good to let your skin breathe for once. No uniform, no belly of metal protecting you from the frozen space.
You turn your head to the side, your grin widening to a bright smile as you watch the upset frown on Poe's face.
"I didn't steal your cake." He repeats for the tenth time.
"Yeah I know you ate it in secret." You correct him.
You press the tip of his nose with your finger to mess with him a bit more, sitting up on the mattress. He's still laying there in this beautiful display of laziness and content with a boyish grin finally appearing as he drops his fake pout. Maybe it's because you are now straddling him, his eyes drinking your sight with this mix of softness and anticipation for your next shenanigans.
"I didn't steal your cake." He says proudly. "I haven't done anything so reprehensible. I wouldn't dare to get hostile. I would take a bite of it then leave you the rest."
"What if this bite involves eating it in one mouthful ?"
"You're the one able to do such things with your mouth. A wonderful talent by the way."
His smug grin is just too hot not to pay attention to it. You kiss and nibble his lips so often when you have the occasion to share some time with him that you barely have looked at his lips. They're perfect for you. Anything would be perfect with him. Even if he were ugly you wouldn't mind. He's just an exceptional man.
"Thank you." You nod with a mischievous gaze. "I'm happy you acknowledge my talents."
"I do it every time." He says as he rubs your hips.
Leaning on him, you press your body against his, enjoying any space covered with his flesh as you kiss him deeply. His lips answer to your perfectly after hours of practice, hands holding you firmly like always. A few seconds later you look down at Poe, more precisely to the pair of pupils staring up at you. When had you watched them for the first time ? You remember more the way his face shifted towards surprise when he saw yours once he got rid off your helmet. It's not every day that a First Order Commander spares a Rebel. You remember all the jokes when you got back to the base, some saying you charmed the enemy into releasing you. But they were not wrong. He let you go if you accepted to spy on them for him. You skipped that part of your agreement, resolving instead for seduction. It was stupid, inconsiderate, dangerous. But how amazing it felt to make him fall. Not only appreciating your physical appearance but really falling for you.
"Be careful little one." He mumbles with a raised eyebrow. "It would be a shame to lower your guard."
"Careful Commander. It would be a shame to let the enemy getting... too close." You whisper against his lips. "Again."
"Hm. A shame, really. Imagine asking for it."
Poe muffles your chuckle with a kiss eager to feel you as you roll over, tangling your legs with the blanket still covered with your sweat. How would have you been able to guess this cocky Commander as so playful ? Passionate ? Eager to share ? Your affection has kept growing and growing, his own passion contagious.
"I told you I can't give you more tonight." He warns gently with knowing eyes.
"But you'd like to."
"I do." He nods as you run your now free hands through his dark curls. "Who wouldn't ?"
"I don't know."
He smiles at your ego showing. You saw more genuine smiles with him than in the base you live in, bombings too frequent to feel safe even in the underground. Too many lives lost. Too much skepticism and fear. Here you feel... nice. And even more than this. Loved. Protected, listened to.
"I'm going to ask you to stop being so charming my lady, this can't keep going." He whispers between two slow and sloppy kisses.
"I'm going to tell you that you are going to fail."
He scoffs before sitting on the bed, stretching as his back cracks loudly, or maybe his nape. Usually his black uniform suits him perfectly, but seeing him naked and fully exposed is a great view as well. You caressed him so many times. Kissed too, with a reminder of more heated times with the live bites below his belly button.
"I love it when you watch me like that." He says with narrowed eyes.
"Are you going to let me... do it for even longer ?"
"All night."
"If one day the First Order gets difficulties to recruit... you could pose like that. Would definitely help a lot." You comment as you get closer to him.
Poe opens his mouth to reply something before closing it. He doesn't like it when you bring back the Order in your conversations but you can't stop it. It's in your mind. You can't forget it. Things can never be simple. He manages to lighten your mood up by kissing the back of your hands several times, his eyes now deadly serious.
"I love you. I am safe. You are safe."
"For now."
"Enjoy our time together honey." He whispers as his own pupils start veiling themselves. "I cherish every second of it. I promise I will never leave you behind. Just wait for a few months. I'll have enough credits to buy something. What about a little house in a small city ?"
"The one with the aerospace you talked about last time ?"
"Yes. This one exactly." He confirms with a smile. "No more First Order. No more Resistance. No war. A normal life, maybe a river if we're lucky. I will teach you to pilot the ships you don't know, and you'll teach me how to repair others. Maybe... maybe a kid ?"
You laugh, it's stronger than you. This shyness so present anytime Poe starts to make plans on the long term looking at you with such affection. Actually you barely know each other but you still feel like yes, it is logic. The day you feel ready for a family is going to be with him. Not now. But... it is going to happen.
"Be patient mister Dameron."
"Not a no then ?" He taunts you.
"Not a no." You confirm.
This sweet smile and incredulous joy on his face is to die for. You are not going to get tired of it. He is a man living his life fully whenever he can, and if it means founding his own family with his beloved enemy, he is going to do it.

Benedict Bridgerton was a very capable man. He had a tremendous amount of talent in capturing the real beauty of the world in his drawings. He was confident, but still genuinely kind and caring for his loved ones. He also had a rather playful side to him, a somewhat child-like behaviour, one that the ton would not have appreciated in their society, but Benedict had the privilege to show his real personality to those who loved him, ones that never judged him for who he was.
However, there was one person he felt utterly useless around. When it came to you, he turned into an adorable mess, a clumsy one at that, even stuttering on occasions. Should you have known the reason for his unusual behaviour, it would have brought a rather large smile to your face, but Benedict dared not to reveal his feelings for you.
For someone who has been friends for so long, you both seemed to have found it hard to show your true feelings for one another, as though both of you were clueless. For Benedict it seemed you only spared as much attention to him as a friend would, whilst you thought he was merely looking out for you as a brother figure.
You sat in the ballroom, watching as he grimaced at his mother, who might have slightly forced her second oldest child to dance with one of the many stunning unwed ladies. The one he was forced to dance with however seemed to enjoy Benedict's company. He didn't talk, nor did he look at the woman, still she shined brighter than a diamond in his arms, proud to be so close to such a fine man.
Heaving a heavy sigh, you watched as he held his hand firmly on her back, leading her around the dance floor, making her giggle by just being close to her. Your heart ached at the thought of ever having to give up on him, at the thought of seeing him with another, someone he would choose to love, ignoring to see your longing gazes forgotten on him. How could he have seen, he never dared to look when he felt your eyes on him, nor did you dared to look when he forgot his on you.
Standing up from your chair, you walked towards the terrace, needing fresh air, trying to clear your thoughts as the slightly cool, windy weather stroked your cheeks. You knew you shouldn't have thought of him romantically, but you would have been a fool not to notice the handsome and caring man he has grown into. Watching Lady Bridgerton trying to find a wife to her son hurt both emotionally and physically and you couldn't wait for the season to end, to leave the balls and play-pretend behind you, running away from the inevitable.
"Help me!" you heard his desperate voice, but before you could have turned around, you felt his hand lock around your wrist, gently, but in a haste, dragging you after himself.
"Benedict, what are you doing?" you asked in confusion, trying to understand his chaotic behaviour as he pulled you along, passing corridors by corridors in the gigantic mansion.
"My mother," he sighed as he stopped his steps, breathing heavily. "My mother is becomingâ" you waited for him to continue, but he seemed to have been stuck in his thoughts.
"Are you alright?" you asked, frowning at his frozen state, as though he couldn't find the words and his thoughts overruled his actions. You watched his hunched back as he fought to get enough air in his lungs, his eyes focused on a certain point on the marble flooring, completely out of the present. "Benedict!" you called him again, this time firmly, attempting to catch his attention.
"I know it!" he exclaimed, making you jump slightly at his unexpected enthusiasm as a rather wide smile spread across his face.
"What do you know exactly?" you inquired.
"It might sound foolish at first and I do not blame you if you think I have lost my mind, but I need your help," he explained, leaving you even more curious.
"What would I need to help you with?" you asked furrowing at the man as if he has forgotten to include you in his grand idea.
"My mother has been adamant in finding me a wife and there is only so much I can do to prevent her from continuing her crusade. I know I shouldn't ask you such a thing, but I can't possibly think of anyone else who I trust enough," he continued in a secretive manner.
"Benedict, you must be clearer. I don't understand what you wish for me to do," you attempted to push him to finally reveal his idea.
"I need my mother to stop searching for a wife and the only way I can do that is if I already found someone I am interested in," he started. "That is where I would need your help, if you agreed. Should you agree to pretend I am courting you, my mother would surely stop this nonsense and leave me alone," for a mere second you felt overwhelmed by the hope of his interest in you, but that was only until your brain processed his words. "Pretend" being the main focus of your attention, shattering the small shimmering light of hope within you.
You took a shaky breath, trying to compose yourself, attempting to hide your disappointment. "Surely you didn't think this through. Your mother isn't a fool, she would see through us immediately. You can't possibly think it's a good idea," you tried to reason with him, but instead of thinking it through again, he quickly shook his head.
"But it is. Think about it. You have said so yourself, you don't want to marry just yet and nor do I. It would be the perfect option for both of us, solving our issues," he added enthusiastically as if his idea was anything, but brilliant. He could clearly see the weary expression across your face as he stepped closer and reached for your hands, engulfing them in his large and warm palms. "We would only have to pretend for a short while, I promise," he tried to reassure you. Whilst you knew it was a foolish idea, the thought of being able to stay close to him even if for a short period of time, seemed to cloud your better judgement.
"For how long?" you asked looking up at him as a mischievous grin spread across his dashingly handsome face. One that you adored so much. "I wouldn't want to be a spinster, Benedict," you sighed heavily.
"I would never let that happen," he shook his head quickly, his previously playful smile long gone from his face. "Let us do it for a few weeks and we will see how my mother reacts. I'm sure if we work well together, you might even catch the attention of some very noble men too," he winked jokingly, trying to lift your dull mood.
You haven't had much time to contemplate, maybe a few seconds until you ran through all the options you have been provided with, which was basically none. You heaved a heavy sigh and shook your head, offering a sceptical look to Benedict. "Fine," you said, earning a surprised expression from him, your answer shocking him for a second, before he wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up, twirling you around happily.
"You are my saviour," he chuckled as he hinted a small kiss on your forehead, stopping himself as he realised what he had done. "I apologise, I didn't mean toâ"
"I understand. You are simply happy I have agreed to such a scandalous idea," you rolled your eyes, but you couldn't hide the happiness you felt. Even if for a short while, Benedict was to belong to you, and it meant more than you could have possibly expressed. You knew you couldn't have him forever but having him for a couple of weeks made you feel like the happiest person alive.
"I owe you! I didn't think you would agree," he grinned happily, a childish warmness radiating from his stance as though he had won a grand prize.
"I still don't understand why I did. Surely, I'm a fool," you added quickly with a silent chuckle.
"We both are," he replied as he started leading you back to the ballroom with your arm linked around his. His gaze focused on the way ahead, but your eyes were rather resting on his attractive features. He was a stunning man, and you were sure if he had turned to look at you, he would have seen the amount of love you were harbouring for him. But as many times before, no one of you has ever turned.
Weeks passed by and if anyone, Violet Bridgerton was the happiest person to see Benedict growing closer to the woman, you, she had envisioned beside her second eldest son. She has made it very clear that a wedding should soon be happening, wanting nothing but a little baby in her arms. You never wanted to crash her dreams but hearing her talking about a future between you and Benedict was beyond painful. The thought of you waking up beside Benedict, his arm resting across your waist, his neck hidden in the crook of your neck, his breath tickling your skin made your heart ache, knowing it was impossible.
You stood in Somerset House, one arm hooked around Benedict's as he watched the paintings, his face focused on one particular art with dark colours and shadings, slightly depressing as if the artist tried to capture a horrible emotion. Art was always something that you found beautiful, but never really understood. When Benedict talked about the meaning behind each piece with a childish happiness across his face, it made you feel content. Although you didn't understand much of what he was saying, the adorable expression he wore was worth each and every moment you spent listening to him.
Looking at his handsome features as they relaxed into a content smile, made you mirror his expression. You couldn't look at him and not smile. As though his mere presence made you feel at ease.
"I feel your eyes on me," he chuckled with a mischievous smile, knowing that you have indeed been staring at him for the longest time.
"I'm sorry," you quickly turned away, feeling your cheeks and ears heat up in embarrassment. "I couldn't stop watching you. You were really focused on that painting and it seemed as though you were here physically, but not mentally. You unintentionally make this face when you enjoy a painting," you smiled shyly.
"A face?" he furrowed, not knowing of his own reaction.
"Yes, as if you were completely captured by the painting. You have a certain content smile across your face and even forget to blink at times," you giggled, placing your hand in front of your mouth, remembering his facial expression.
"Don't hide your smile," he said as he reached for your wrist and gently wrapped his fingers around your arm, pulling your hand away from your lips. "You are even more beautiful when you smile," for a second his words made you hope, as though he meant more than he let on. His eyes seemed as if they could see through you, reading each and every single thought that crossed your mind. For the shortest of time, it felt your feelings weren't as unrequited as you thought. However, you quickly had to remind yourself that your imagination was playing a painful game with you, one that would surely end in a heartbreak.
You quickly turned away, trying to shake those foolish thoughts away, before you decided to dwell on them any longer. Clearing your thoughts, you turned back to him with a phony smile across your face, biting your bottom lip to calm yourself. But his deep frown left you confused. "Are you okay?" you questioned as he tilted his head as if he was studying your face.
"You were biting your lips again," he replied. "You do that when you are nervous or feeling uncomfortable," he added, stunning you. Biting your lips was indeed a nervous habit of yours, one that you couldn't stop as it made you feel slightly at ease when you felt as if even your own thoughts betrayed you. You never thought Benedict even realised those irrelevant, minor details.
"I'm fine, Benedict," you tried to reassure him with a smile that you wore confidently but could not fool Benedict.
"Should you feel the need to talk, I'm here," he said, drawing tiny circles on the back of your arm that he was still securely holding onto, reassuring you that he was by your side whenever you were in need of him.
As happy as it made you, you couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment as you thought about the heartbreak when he would finally want to end your foolish little game and find himself a wife that he could cherish forever, leaving you with the most horrible heartache one could cause.
You knew it was inevitable, you knew it would kill you, but you loved Benedict and you would have never forced him to stay beside you for any longer than he wanted to. You were ready to give him up, to be happy even if with someone else. The thought of letting him go hurt, but you weren't sure of your own strength either. Thinking about how long you could stay beside him pretending to be a mere friend left you with just as much pain, if not more. But you were ready to sacrifice your own happiness even if to be able to spend one more second with him.
Days passed by since your slightly awkward encounter in Somerset House. You have pretended to be a couple so in love that you couldn't possibly stay away from each other. Lady Whistledown didn't miss to write a paragraph or two about the two of you, already planning your wedding, one that you found slightly excessive, but dared not to mention to keep your act believable.
As much as you enjoyed the first few weeks of your play-pretend, it was hard to keep it up for long. You loved every minute you spent with Benedict, but the longer you were beside him, the more pain you felt. You wished to make him happy, to continue your act, but you also knew that it wasn't forever, and that tiny little thought suffocated you.
You sat on a bench in the park, right after promenading with Benedict. He joined his brothers whilst your maid brought you a glass of water to refresh yourself. You watched as Benedict laughed with his brothers, a wide, adorable and carefree smile sat across his face. Weeks ago, you would have smiled at his happiness, but then and there, sitting on the bench, watching his happy form, you felt miserable. Each time you looked at him, your stomach jumped nervously, your breath caught in your lungs as he touched your arm. These tiny little details meant nothing to him, but for you they meant the world. He couldn't have known the effects his advances left on you, he couldn't have predicted to hurt you unintentionally, but in the end, he unknowingly caused you pain.
Standing up from the bench, you started walking towards the Bridgerton brothers. Heaving a heavy sight, you lifted your arm and tapped Benedict's shoulder lightly, trying to catch his attention. He turned around with a wide smile, looking at you curiously. However, your face must have forgotten to oblige as his smile quickly disappeared and concern took over him.
"Are you alright?" he asked as he nodded to his brothers and reached for your hand, placing it on his arm, leading you away from his family.
"I must talk to you," you started, your voice unusually grim.
"Go ahead. You are worrying me," he added impatiently. Trying to collect your thoughts, you stopped, halting the man beside you whose worried eyes didn't seem to want to leave you for a mere second. "Talk to me," he attempted to reassure you.
"I am really sorry, but I can't possibly do this anymore," your words earned a confused frown from Benedict, before he finally understood what you meant. "I know I promised to help you and I wish I could have done it longer, but I honestly can't do this anymore," you added as you fought against your tears, trying to keep them in place for as long as you could. You couldn't let yourself cry in front of so many people, you couldn't let that happen. Benedict straightened himself in front of you, trying to hide your face from the curious eyes.
"I understand. I am sorry for forcing you to do this. I never thought it could be this hard on you. I would never hurt you, you know that, right?" he asked, trying to contain himself from wrapping his arms around you, fidgeting with his hands beside his thighs.
"I know and you didn't hurt me, it's not your fault. It has just become rather difficult recently and I don't think I'm capable of pretending anymore," you tried to reassure him, making him feel less guilty. "I'm still your friend and I will always be your friend," you added with a phoney smile. Your own words were a lie. You didn't know how long you could pretend to be his friend, but you knew he needed to hear that, he needed not to blame himself. "I will be going home now, but surely I will see you later," you smiled up at him as you curtsied and nodded towards your maid, ready to head home, completely oblivious to the pained gaze he was watching your slowly disappearing form with.
Whilst you sat in your carriage, letting your tears finally run down your cheeks, leaning on your maid's shoulder, Benedict stood confused between Colin and Anthony, his eyes fixed on the ground, his thoughts filled with you only.
"Brother?" Colin called for him with concern in his eyes. It was unusual to see his brother unresponsive, without a playful smile. "Are you alright?" he asked, earning a frown from Benedict.
"I shouldn't have dragged her into this," he replied, but his words were directed more to himself than his brothers.
"What do you mean?" Anthony asked, seemingly more interested in their conversation.
"It was all a lie," Benedict replied, his gaze still fixed on the carefully cut grass.
"What was a lie?" the eldest Bridgerton brother asked again.
"All along we were pretending to be courting, so mother would stop trying to force me to marry," he scoffed, finally understanding the weight of his idea. "She said she can't do this anymore. That it was too painful to bear," he shook his head, guilt overcoming him.
"You really are a fool," Anthony replied with a sceptical look across his face, earning a confused look from both Colin and Benedict.
"How do you mean? Is it because we have been pretending?" Benedict questioned his brother. "I know it was foolish, but she agreed, I didn't know it would be particularly hard on her," he added with a deep frown.
"Brother, can you not see the way she looks at you? Always trying to make you feel happy, bringing a smile to your face even when she, herself is struggling to do so? Are you really that blind?" Anthony raised a questioning brow, as though he couldn't believe how oblivious his brother was towards your feelings.
"Should I understand?" he asked tilting his head innocently, searching for the right explanation. "We have been friends from a very young age, I am certain we have always tried to make each other smile in a difficult situation," he added, earning an eye roll from the eldest Bridgerton brother, ignoring his manners.
"When you said you were courting her, I thought you finally realised that you weren't the only one with feelings beyond friendship. However, after hearing about this foolish idea of yours, forcing a lady to pretend to love you, when in fact she has feelings for you is beyond stupid, brother, and I'm quite disappointed in you for not realising it yourself," he shook his head disapprovingly.
"Are you telling me she has feelings for me?" Benedict asked in disbelief, his brother's words lighting a weak hope within him.
"Indeed, took you long enough to understand," he scoffed.
"I have to talk to her," Benedict added quickly, heading towards the carriages in haste, carefully planning all he needed to tell you.
The ride didn't take long, 20 minutes at most, before he stood in front of your house, his hands shaking slightly, nervousness running through his whole being. Knocking on the door, a maid opened it for him, asking him to wait to announce his arrival to you.
You laid on your bed, cheeks swollen from crying, bottom lip red as a result of the constant biting of your nervous state. A knock on your door brought you out of your misery as your maid walked into the room.
"Mr. Bridgerton is here to see you," she said with a saddened tone, knowing of the arrangement between the two of you. Your eyes widened in surprise, you weren't ready to see him, especially not in your current, heartbroken state. "Would you like me to ask him to leave?" she questioned, looking at the panicked expression across your face.
"No, it's fine. Please take him to the drawing room," you instructed her and headed to the bathroom to make yourself presentable. Your eyes were bloodshot, your face was slightly swollen, and your clothes were beyond wrinkled. Attempting to straighten your dress, you stroked the material over and over again, but it didn't seem to work, nor did the cold water you washed your face with to remove the evidence of your miserable state. At last, you gave up and walked to the drawing room, knowing you wouldn't be able to do anything else with your appearance.
"We have just parted, Benedict," you said to the man as you stepped inside the room and took a seat across the sofa he occupied.
"I needed to see you," he replied, standing up from his place and taking a seat beside you. "Iâ, I talked to my brothers after you left," he started, stammering over his words, something he only did in his nervous state. "I am a fool and there is no excuse for that. I can't possibly imagine how hard it must have been for you to pretendâ"
"I have told you already, I am completely fine," you tried to reassure him with a faux smile, one that this time Benedict didn't believe to be genuine.
"But are you?" he asked, earning a confused frown from you. "Do you know why I thought this foolish idea to be brilliant in the first place?" he raised a questioning brow, but instead of replying you shook your head. "I wanted to be closer to you. I merely thought it would be my chance to spend more time with you. Surely, I had no intention to marry anyone, and I wished my mother to stop, but my primary concern was you. I wanted to be near you at all times, but I couldn't possibly tell you how I felt, knowing you would only reject me," you couldn't control the surprise sitting across your face, your lips parted in shock, his words seemingly part of your most precious dreams. It seemed surreal.
"You are confusing me, Benedict," you spoke up, trying not to hope once again to then fall painfully.
"I'm saying I love you. I have loved you for so long, I can't remember when it started. I never imagined my feelings could be returned and I turned to foolish ideas to be beside you. I needed my brothers to open my eyes and scold me for being childish, for making me hope that I might have your heart even if only half as much as you have mine," he reached for you hand, gently squeezing it in his hold, reassuring you that he meant every single word of his.
"I love you," you blurted out, astonished by his speech, your own words surprising you.
"You do?" he asked, afraid to believe the words he has longed to hear from you.
"I do," you nodded, this time with more confidence, earning a wholehearted smile from Benedict as he leaned closer and wrapped his arms around you, embracing you in his arms.
"I made you cry, didn't I?" he asked as he pulled away slightly, enough for him to be able to look in your eyes as he placed his hands on your cheeks.
"It wasn't you. I was emotional, because I wasn't sure how long I would be able to stay beside you as a friend before it became too much to handle," you giggled awkwardly, feeling as if you have said too much.
"It was still my fault. I didn't consider your feelings," he shook his head, disapproving of his own actions. The tip of his thumb gently brushed across your bottom lip, leaving you with a ticklish feeling. "Have you been biting your lips again?" he asked as his eyes focused on your mouth. His attentiveness, his attention to detail and his closeness made you swallow nervously.
"I might have," you whispered, not daring to raise your voice any louder. Feeling his breath on your lips, the proximity between your faces, his warm palms on your cheeks made you feel intoxicated.
"You shouldn't do that. From now on talk to me when something bothers you," he spoke in a low tone, his voice soothing, making you feel safe. "You are doing it again," he chuckled, his eyes completely captured by the way your teeth bit on your lip, but this time it wasn't nervousness, but excitement. His closeness affected every tiny part of your body. "It really makes me want to kiss you," he breathed, completely mesmerised by your lips, as if an invisible force was pulling him towards you. You felt your heart beating at a dangerous pace, almost as if threatening to escape your chest and you could swear Benedict heard it just as well.
"Hmm," you hummed in a reply, incapable of creating a coherent sentence, before closing the gap between the two of you, a certain confidence rush taking over your actions. Instead of the surprised reaction you expected from Benedict, a playful chuckle left his lungs.
"Impatient, it seems," he added, before he returned your kiss, pulling you closer to himself, enjoying the feeling of your body in his embrace. He has imagined over and over again how it could feel to kiss you, to hold you, but none of those made-up scenarios could ever compete against the reality and the content it filled him with. "I wish to genuinely court you this time," he added as he pulled away from you.
"I very much hope so," you giggled happily, earning a playful eye roll from Benedict, before he captured your lips once again, wrapping his arms around you securely.

the last appointment
zhongli & gn!reader
3.4k words âą ~25 min. read
summary: as a studious and credible fortune teller in liyue, you discover something about your last client of the week that completely derails your outlook on life.
warnings: liyue arc spoilers, little bit of existential dread, slight mention of family memberâs death
notes: might make more parts to this idk? just kinda wanted to dip my toes into genshin writing for the first time!!
LIFE IN LIYUE HARBOUR seemed to be repetitive and mundane. For the past few years, you would wake up, open your fortune telling shop, analyze the futures of your clients using your geomancy, possibly take a stroll around Liyue when you needed to run errands, and then call it a day. You performed the same routine constantly, sometimes travelling beyond the harbor to collect crystals and magical supplies for your shop, but rarely did anything truly change in your routine. If something was off in the slightest, it was never too exciting to note.
As anyone would have suspected, you were tired of your state of limbo in life. Other vision holders seemed to be going on adventures, travelling with companions and exploring the vast mountains and valleys of Teyvat. Other vision holders seemed to be fighting against evil, helping citizens, and saving the world from imminent dangers. You could even recall a recent event where the Qixing had evacuated the harbor to defeat a terrifying sea monster. The Jade Chamber had been sacrificed for the safety of the people of Liyue, and yet here you were, playing with a bunch of rocks for a living. Despite being able to grasp the glowing Geo vision that held your coat together, you could not grasp why you felt doomed to tend to this shop for the rest of your days.
You didnât know where or how to âstartâ your life. The small, inherited establishment from your late aunt was located in the small alley of Chihu Rock, practically out of sight from most of the foot traffic in the harbor. Not many people came to visit, though your name was still decently known. In fact, most of your appointments were simply previous clients from your aunt, regulars that relied on her readings for years and believed you were the next best thing after she passed. Especially considering you were the first vision holder in your family, it made your credibility even stronger.
You still remember how you got your vision. The morning after your aunt had passed, the elemental gift somehow made its way into your hand as if the timing was meant to be perfect. You didnât celebrate such a special and momentous occasion with pride or joy. Your face stiff with tears, you instead reflected on why you received your vision at that moment in the first place. With the shop doors closed upstairs, you gripped your vision and did what you felt needed to be done. With your familyâs legacy and tradition on the line, adventuring like other vision wielders was not a priority at the time.
But after years alone of research, a social life consisting only of interacting with customers, and a constant state of grieving the experiences you couldâve had in your youth, you were now in your late twenties and closing the shop for the day. Your last appointment was either extremely late or not showing up at all and you were tired of working today, just like every other day. Regret gripped you tightly as you wondered how you managed to get yourself in such a boring, slow burning loop.
That is until the shop door opened, eliciting a gasp from you at the sudden noise, shattering the previous thought. You accidentally dropped the basket of cor lapis you were refilling and immediately knelt down to pick up the precious pieces that thankfully hadnât cracked on the way down.
âHello, [Y/N],â the tall figure practically glided through the doorway, âMy deepest apologies for being late.â
He closed the door behind him, â...and for startling you, it seems.â
You sighed, checking for any scratches on the gems and sighed again with relief based on the good results. You grinned to hide the fact you had just been in deep thought. âItâs quite alright, Mr. Zhongli. Itâs kind of you to stop by at the very least, even if youâre late.â
Mr. Zhongli was one of your auntâs longtime clients. Since you were a child, your aunt had always described Mr. Zhongli as a complex yet thoughtful man that had always shown kindness to your family for many years. When Mr. Zhongli learned of your auntâs death and began to receive readings from you instead, you quickly realized what your aunt meant by calling him complex. Mr. Zhongli was truly a tough nut to crack in every single reading, his sessions taking longer than most other cases. That is why Mr. Zhongli would always offer to take the last spot of the day at the end of every week as to not trouble any of your other clients.
As you took a few of the best cor lapis from the basket, you could see Mr. Zhongliâs acts of kindness and thoughtfulness unfold in front of you. He seemed to carry what was now clearly a gift basket at closer inspection.
âThis gift is for you,â Mr. Zhongli took a few steps forward to set the basket on a countertop. âI brought you your favorites. Slow cooked bamboo shoot soup, qingxin, glaze lilies, and all the crystals I could findâŠÂ needless to say, let this be a token of my appreciation for your patience and hard work from our last few sessions. I know I am not the easiest to read, but you truly have a talent.â
You were speechless at the gesture as your eyes sunk into the intricate detail of the handwoven basket and decorated items inside. No one had ever done something so kind for you in so long. It was astonishing enough that he remembered your favorite soup that you mentioned only once a few months ago, let alone your favorite flowers and crystals as well. âThank you so much, Mr. Zhongli!  Iâm at a loss for words â this is so thoughtful of you!â
âI even brought you that Rex Incognito series you had mentioned, although, I am not sure why you would need to read the series when I am fully capable of educating you on the history of Rex Lapis myself,â he flaunted, taking his seat on the cushioned chair in front of the reading table.
âNow, Mr. Zhongli...â you picked out some prithiva topaz from another basket, following the usual protocol you had with such a personalized, frequent client like him. The required materials for his readings were imprinted into your memory like carvings in stone. âYou know I donât want to burden you with my curiosity. And with such an intriguing topic like Rex Lapis... once I start asking questions Iâm afraid I will not stop.â
âI have all the time in the world,â he got comfortable in his seat as you sat yourself across from him, âI truly think it would benefit you to discuss the history of Rex Lapis with a learned scholar such as myself. We can even have some tea as we discuss.â
You chuckled at his eagerness. He seemed more forward than usual. âYou are too kind, Mr. Zhongli. Perhaps Iâll take that offer someday, but at least let me put those books to good use first. Maybe I wonât need to bombard you with questions if Iâm already well briefed on the subject.â
He sighed happily. âYou make a good point. And you will enjoy them, Iâm sure.â
You settled into your seat as you arranged the crystals between the two of you. âThe usual for tonight?â
  âYes, please.â
Your hands meticulously placed the last crystal in its spot on the surface. You closed your eyes and hovered your hands above the rocks, clearing your mind to make way for the usual reading: a reflection on the past, any significant events of the present to focus on, and some insight into the future. You held this hand gesture for awhile, letting the energy from the rocks lift into the air and envelop your gloved palms. When you felt there was enough energy to work with, you opened your eyes to reveal the manifestation of his thoughts in front of you, able to take its physical form using the powers from your glowing vision.
No one had ever taught your this skill, not even your aunt. If you had to bloat your own ego, one could say you invented this Geo fortune telling process yourself. The process indeed came to you naturally, a true display of pure talent.
You slowly lifted your hands to allow the visual manifestation to settle on the table among the gems so Mr. Zhongli could watch his reading unfold in front of him as well.
âLet us analyze the past first,â he spoke, already knowing the routine without you needing to ask him where to start. You slowly waved your hands as if you were digging a hole in sand on a beach, the manifestation displaying ambiguous patterns that wouldnât make sense to any commonerâs eyes but could be interpreted easily by yours.
Two pairs of focused eyes fixated on the picture as you spoke your mind out loud. âYou have recently given up something extremely important to you, it seems. I see you handing over somethingâŠÂ small, physically, yet unbelievably significant and personal. I canât tell what it is exactly, only that it glows like the sun with its energy. But you have handed this important object over to a very... evil... figure?â you cocked your eyebrow, confused. âYou seem to be brooding over the fact that its aura is dark with malicious intentions.â You hesitated, âWell, that canât be right, can it?â
He sighed. âUnfortunately, that is indeed what happened recently. But it had to be done.â
âDidnât we talk about a similar situation in a previous reading? If I remember correctly, I thought I had advised you to not give up whatever that object was.â
âI am aware of the consequences that will follow. Especially with your future guidance, Iâm sure the events following this one questionable decision will unfold in a better way soon enough.â
âI will always be here to help you, Mr. Zhongli. But please be careful in the future with these decisions. The importance of this object seems to be off the charts.â
He nodded. âIt is as you say. Please, have faith in me now. I cannot change what happened in the past, after all.â
You hovered over this image of the sacrifice. You couldnât make out what this object was, no matter how close you tried to inspect it. It had the likings of a chess piece, but surely this wasnât simply a chess piece, was it?
âLet us move on, if that is alright with you,â his low voice cut the silence.
You wiped the image from your mind and waved your hands again, as if you were slowly putting the sand back into the hole you dug before. If the last image wasnât enough bad news, this new one that formed was even more painful to witness.
âYou have been grieving your losses very recently,â you said gently. âYour mind is currently weighed down by your past. I see you looking out at the sea in deep thought. There are flashes ofâŠâ
You stopped as you inspected the graphic images that suddenly appeared beyond your hands. You gasped at the terrifying horrors.
âWhat is it?â the low voice tried to search for understanding of what you were seeing. Even though the image was clearly laid out in front of him, it was still too ambiguous to tell when he lacked your years of experience.
âThere are flashes of war,â your breath stifled as you watched his thoughts splayed out in images of lifeless bodies and destruction. âVery graphic details of war and death. Mr. Zhongli, I believe this image of suffering has been weighing over your mind like an anchor in the sea.â
He paused to process your comparison. âThat is... a very good way to put it.â
âThough, I believe that despite the sorrow that emanates in this image, you are in a state of relief and tranquility. It seems you are grieving, but you are simultaneously at peace,â you hesitated again, âYet I wonder what these graphic images of war are meant to represent. Surely we are not in an actual war, are we? Perhaps you are at war with your past, wanting to move on but haunted by your memories?â
Mr. Zhongli unfortunately knew the images you were seeing were, in fact, real events he had experienced in his life time and the truth was that lately he had been reminiscing on these events. Mortal life is kind to humans for them to be blissfully unaware and carefree of these harsh realities, he internally commented.
He still put your analysis into thought, though.
âI am haunted, indeed. I have been attempting to come to terms with my troubled past, just as you advised me only a few weeks ago. I have tried to follow your guidance, and although they resurface what I have been trying to repress, I believe I am coming to peace with what happened.â
You grinned. âThat is very good to hear, Mr. Zhongli. I believe you are currently making good progress when it comes to moving on. Just remember that it is okay to remember your sorrow. Let your emotions pass through you instead of repressing them or rushing to move on. It is okay to take your time and let the thoughts bubble inside of you for awhile.â
He closed his eyes as you continued, letting your advice seep in. You continued. âImagine the stillness of the sea. Many creatures and lost remnants take their place in the depths of the waters, but on the surface we see constantly moving yet serene waves wash over what is hidden below. Your memories are there to stay, Mr. Zhongli. But your present self, the surface of the water, can peacefully coexist with whatever is hiding deep within. Let these thoughts weigh you down momentarily, but rest assured, you will find balance and acceptance in due time.â
His eyes fluttered open as he reflected over your words. You always seemed to know what to say. âYour words have truly resonated with me, [Y/N]. And you are absolutely correct. I have been fighting these memories to avoid the pain, but it had not dawned on me that sorrow is... what I am meant to feel, not push away. I suppose your advice has put my mind at a bit more ease, and I suppose I am focusing too much on when I will be able to move on rather than allowing my thoughts to coexist for a moment.â
âNow youâre getting it,â you grinned with the relief that washed over his face.
âShall we move on?â he offered.
You got to work on the last segment of the reading. If manifesting the other images didnât take long enough, reading oneâs future always took the longest. Interpreting an event that hasnât happened yet always made you a bit nervous with your words. You never wanted to let a client down with an inaccurate reading.
On the contrary, this reading, despite taking quite awhile to appear on the surface on the table, was very clear.
âThat is undoubtedly an image of me,â your eyes glazed over the facial features of the person in the manifestation. âI apologize for the delay, Mr. Zhongli, I must have accidentally let my thoughts seep into yoursââ
âDo not fret, I believe this is accurate,â he interrupted. âKeep going.â
Your perplexed expression remained as you continued the reading. âI am admittedly stumped. There is nothing left in this image. I suppose it is simply me standing in what looks like some ruins. I am holding a staff, or some kind of long object.â You paused to think out loud. âWhy am I in your reading? What could this possibly mean?â
Mr. Zhongli chuckled as you thought out loud. âPerhaps this is a good time to tell you why you are in my thoughts.â
âIâd love to hear it, I have never appeared in someoneâs reading in my last decade and a half of experience. This is quite unique.â
He folded his hands in his lap, âFor some reason, I have had this strange vision of training you. Iâm not sure why, since you donât seem like the fighting type, but there is some voice inside me that is telling me you are destined for something great and i need to take some part in it. What do you think, now that you see this vision as well?â
Your eyebrows rose in shock. âTraining me? I guess this does relate to something I have been pondering as of late. I do not want to lay out my troubles on you though, my job is to interpret your life, not mine.â
âOur lives have clearly intertwined in this vision,â he insisted, âPlease do not hold back for my sake. I have the time.â
You thought for a moment. How could you form the words without seeming too selfish? How could you maintain professionalism by talking about your personal problems?
âI am not the fighting type, Mr. Zhongli. Though, lately I have been quite depressed about the fact that I am not doing as much with my vision as other vision holders are. My life is uninteresting. The truth is that I am a simple fortune teller that plays with rocks. I hope you can understand why I am failing to interpret this reading,â you apologized. âItâs because this doesnât seem characteristic of me at all. And with all due respect, after giving you readings for years, I would have never guessed you were versed in combat to train me!â
He chuckled. âI respectfully disagree. To tell you the truth, your talents surpass the abilities of many other vision holders. Not everyone can read thoughts or tell the future. Now that I mention it, I know of one talented astrologist in Mondstadt, but think about that. You are one in hundreds of thousands in Teyvat,â he reassured. âYou did not receive your vision for no reason and I truly believe you are destined for something big. I regret not being able to realize this before.â
âHow are you so sure of this? I would love to believe you, but Iâm afraid I am not destined for much, really. Again, I am simply a fortune teller. What could I possibly do for Liyue other than read some rocks?â
He sighed and connected his palms with yours, interrupting the reading and wiping the manifestation off the table. The hovering crystals dropped onto the surface, making you gasp at the sudden sound.
âI am not who you think I am,â his amber eyes finally met yours for the first time this evening, which sent a chill down your spine. âPromise me you will not fret, for what I am about to show you may shock you.â
âWhat do you mean? What are you doing, Mr. Zhongli?â you slightly panicked as he firmly grasped your hands.
Suddenly, the room was engulfed in golden light that emitted from the seat across from you. Scattered, distorted images of a mystical dragon, a devastating war, and seven seats in Celestia flashed across your eyes as you stared at the beams of light. Death seemed to swallow you, but not take you. The baskets of crystals around the room shook with the surge of energy. The world seemed to destroy itself then remake itself over and over again within fleeting moments. These thousands of years of memories made your body tremble. It all happened within fleeting moments, and after a few seconds of your senses being overwhelmed, you finally pulled yourself together and connected the dots.
His expanded knowledge of Liyueâs history. The sudden gift of your vision immediately after your aunt passed. Grieving his losses and having flooded thoughts of war and death. Offering combat training. Remembering your favorites the same way he would remember Liyueâs customs and traditions. His glowing amber eyes alone.
Mr. Zhongli was the God of Contracts and overseer of Liyue. Rex Lapis, a being that lived for millennia, sat in the seat across from you. He had been posing as a mere mortal for years, taking readings as if he were any normal customer. The realization shook you to your core as you sat there bewildered, grateful, and horrified at the same time.
He let go of your hands after seeing that the information successfully processed in your mind. He saw something in you that was yet to be awakened, where the sky was the limit under your own expectations. This daydream of his was no simple vision â it was a calling. Internally, whether you agreed to it or not, he vowed that he would not leave your life until your true destiny was fulfilled.
He would see this vow fulfilled by offering you a contract that would change the course of your life forever.

The Brothers reacting to an MC who likes to collect... rocks?
It was certainly a strange hobby to behold, but there were more than meets the eye within these rocks! If you crack them open they often hold such a wonderful design, and on the rare occasion they can probably even hide a geode or two, regardless, you were very passionate for these things and it just so happens that it catches some of the brotherâs attention.
(A/N: Ill be doing 2 at the time for now UwU Â
Warnings: none!Â
Reader: Gender Neutral!)
~ ë_ë Lucifer ~
* Lucifer always kept an eye on you ever since you got to Devildom
* Cuz of this, he was probably the first to notice your... strange addiction
* He saw how you always seem to stop on your tracks to pick up a shiny smooth stone lying on the side of the gates infront of the HoL while he walked home with you.
* Or how youâd snatch a few from the gardens on an early Sunday morning when you think that everyone was still asleep
* Since it was harmless enough, he never really bothered to call you out on itÂ
* Lowkey does find it cute how something so small can already make you so happy, such an easy-to-please cutie you are
* It wasnât a problem till he was told that you seem to be arriving late more often for your classesÂ
* At first he thought that maybe you were simply caught up in some mess from his brothers againÂ
* Maybe perhaps Belphie snuck you off to sleep again than go to classÂ
* But no, when heâd confronted you he was pretty surprised, and at the same time, confused at your answer.
* âThere were these cool looking red geodes I accidentally found on the back, b-but I mustve dropped them at some point when Mammon and I were rushing to class...so Iâve been trying to look for more of them for my collection... Sorry...â
*To be fair you did look pretty apologetic for it and really didnt mean to botch up your schedule, but still.
* He lets you go pretty easily, with a small lecture, but thats about it.Â
* Although you never did stop looking for that geode, you even pulled Beel to help with promise of a homemade cake to try and cover as much ground, but nothing.
* You came home that day a little defeated
* but much to your surprise when you reached your room, a small box was waiting outside your door and inside was none other than the beautiful red geode youve been so desperate to look for. And... well, you didnt have to guess who was kind enough to give it to you.
* The next day, you do go over to thank him properly for the help, and explain that you had been extremely captivated with that specfic geode because of how it reminds you of the first bornâs eyes.
* This boi is highkey stunned but tryna make it lowkey though (pride 100)
 * Definitely amused and flattered.Â
* From now on, he does continue to give you geodes to add to your collection, and would even accompany you on your little endeavors if his work load isnt too unbearing. Away from the eyes of his brothers of course.
* Hed definitely want to seek the perfect geode too that reminds him of you in return that he can decorate on his desk while hes working. Even better, maybe have the geodes crafted to a perfect ring that you two can wear.
-------------
~ á(`âœÂŽ)á Mammon ~
* Not like youre complaining either
* Today was another weekend, and weekends mean you guys get to hang out! Â
* Not like you two were ever seperated in the first place anyways, heâs like an octopus that just wont let goÂ
* Anyways, He casually enters your room, phone in hand as he scrolls through various articles featuring his modelling work, he was gonna show off as usual, afterall, this man LIVES for your praise.
* âOi! (Y/N) Check this out! They ranked me number 1 on the most handsome model in Devildom! And I didnât cheat the system this ti---â
* You had been busy in your cabinet when he walked in, so you didnt have time to warn him of your mess on your bed.
* Hence why, when he was starting to brag about his latest achievement, it was immediately cut off by a pained yelp.
* Mammon, too busy on his DDD, didnt notice the shiny geodes and stones you had left on your bed to arrange for your new dsplay case, and because of this, (his dumbass) plopped on the bed, landing right on the sharp edges of the beautiful rocks.
* It wasnt fun.
* You had rushed to help him as he started stroking his back from the sting, he was a demon so he was pretty sturdy, but cmon, landing on a buncha hard rocks was still not good.
* You did rush to go get him an ice pack for his poor back, and when you came back, he seemed to have been healed almost immediately as he stares at your collection with a big shine on his own eyes, they can rival the geodes at this point.
* â(Y/N)! Why didnât you tell me you had these? Donât yknow how much these would sell? Hell, I can even probably sell them for an even higher price!â
* The rolling of your eyes was very intense that Diavolo could feel it from his castle and you pushed that ice pack on his face to make him stop.
* You did make it very clear that if he ever decides to try and get any of these stones, you were gonna be snitching him to Beel for eating his pudding the other day (You wouldnât though would you?)
* Still that does shut down his money making plans, but he does question you for it, why hoard these valuable items when you could make thousands of grimm for it? You even seem to have a talent for finding these too, it seems like a huge waste, and so you proceed to explain to him your love for these shiny geodes.
* First image in his head was you being a relative to a crow, or you being a crow in general, because if anything, thats what his little crows do, they pass him shiny stuff they find along the day, of course theyre not as extravagant as these geodes, but it doesnt negate the fact you definitely have crow energy, and hes so down for it. His love for you just grew tenfold.
* But who knew it can grow further? Because you eventually explain to him that the geodes you collected, or the simple stones you had, all were special because all of them hold a special memory. One of the smoother stones you had was the same stone you used to display your momâs favorite rose garden, it even had your initials that you scrapped on when your were 5, another was a geode you found on your field trip at the human world and so on.
* Mammon definitely had his attention to you the entire time, this boy is smitten and he just loves hearing you talk about each one, he grows a small appreciation for them now and he can understand why you wouldnât want to sell them away. But then he noticed you reach for a much cleaner, tear drop looking geode, it was a blue-yellow mix.
* You explain to him that this was your first geode found when you went here in Devildom, the first you also carved as it was more jagged than this when you found it, and of course, you chose to keep it cause it reminded you for your first man.
* Mammon was so moved, and he was just sitting there, red as a strawberry and mouth open like a fish out of water, but hes not the only one because you too were blushing like an idiot as you held the special rock.
* He does end up trying to act his typical ways, but he was nothing but a stuttering mess, and much to his embarassment, he was also tearing up.
* Please hug him, he needs it, he just cant help but feel so flattered that you dedicated a geode for him and he felt that pride and love swell to incredible levels, you definitely have him yearning for you even more.
* Next time you go out to seek more geodes here in Devildom, he might just come with you along with his army of crows, and even cuter, his crows would just hand you special rocks every now and then.
* This boy might just start his own collection now thanks to you, but most his geodes will just be dedicated to you
----------
A h h h hope you guys like it! I know its a weird premise, but I honestly do love gemstones and stuff lol, also yes i did indulge too much on Mammon, hush, but yeah, ill do more of the others soon!

Masterlist
___
You hadnât meant to fall in love with a hologram boy from Sweden, you really hadnât. It had just sort of happened.
Who could blame you though? You were pretty sure everyone in the gym fell at least a little bit in love with the band when they appeared as if by magic behind Julie that day. You, however, fell completely for the bassist.
You were first struck by his looks. Sure, the brunet and blond boys were cute but there was something about the bassist. His dark, styled hair and leather jacket over the red flannel. Your first thought was that he was hot, and then he smiled and your heart melted.
You could tell just by the way he performed and interacted with the crowd and his bandmates that he wore his emotions on his face and his heart on his sleeve. Then he sent a wink in your direction as he played.
You were hooked from then on.
You had so many questions for Julie when you got to your shared bio class. Youâd somehow managed to be lab partners for two years in a row now and you worked quite well together so you didnât feel like you were taking advantage of your situation to get information about the boy.
She told you his name was Reggie and that they were actually from Sweden. Youâd been disappointed but unfortunately the fact that youâd probably never be able to meet each other let alone communicate didnât stop your crush from developing.
You continued to inquire about him when you met at her house to study for tests or work on homework. Sheâd always tell you what you wanted to know but would always remind you, nicely, that you didnât have a chance.
âI just donât want you to get hurt, Y/N,â sheâd say sincerely but you would wave her off.
âItâs just a harmless celebrity crush.â
âWeâre not celebrities!â Julie would protest  and youâd grin.
âNot yet, you arenât,â you would remind her, confident in the fact that her band was going places. âBut when you go big and the whole world falls in love with those cute Swedish boys Iâll be able to say I was the first Reggie girl.â
Youâd both laugh at that before returning to whatever school work you were working on.
You went to every performance you could as well, unable to get enough of the cute bassist and loving the bandâs sound. Youâd made it to their last-minute coffee shop gig and Julieâs garage party. The girl had even managed to score you a ticket to their Orpheum performance, knowing how big of a fan you were.
___
While Luke was going out of his mind trying to navigate his feelings and relationships it Julie, Reggie had an even bigger problem. He hadnât been able to get you out of his mind since heâd first seen you in Julieâs schoolâs gymnasium. He asked Julie about you all the time and would often sit next to you on the couch when you came over to study. He knew you couldnât see or hear him but he liked spending time with you, much like he did with Ray. Sometimes heâd help you when you got stuck on a problem since bio was one of his favorite subjects in school. You couldnât hear him but Julie could and it always made him feel warm to know he helped you out.
His situation with you was worsened by the fact that he knew you had a crush on him as well. He heard you ask Julie about him (most of the time he would feed her the answers to your questions so you could know more about him) and he also heard you gush about how cute and talented you thought he was and how unfair it was that he lived in Sweden. He knew in the back of his head that telling you they were from Sweden was actually a smart idea, but he resented his friend for the choice as it meant youâd never know that he was there with you and interested in you too.
Luke had it easy, he often thought frustratedly. At least Julie and Luke could see each other and communicate. Reggie had to get by on the eye contact and smiles she gave him during their gigs. The hardest one had been the Orpheum when he had been sure that it was the last time theyâd ever see each other again. It broke his heart when he disappeared after their bows, sending you one last smile and a wink like at their first performance.
When Julie saved them in the barn he couldnât help but feel relieved. Sure things would still be difficult, but the two of you would be able to make eye contact and share smiles again. He just didnât realize how soon or often.
___
The day after the Orpheum performance you made your way to the Molinaâs garage, having arranged to meet up with Julie to study for your upcoming exam. You let yourself in, sending a text to Julie to let her know you were there. You jumped slightly when you looked up from your phone and noticed she wasnât alone. Standing in the studio fiddling with a bass was Reggie himself.
âOh my gosh, um, hi,â you said, shocked at the sight of the boy in front of you. âOh, um, Iâm sorry. Do you speak English?â
âYeah, why wouldnât I speak English?â He asked, tilting his head slightly in confusion.
âOh, well, Julie said you guys were from Sweden so....â
âOhh, right! Yeah, thatâs us, the Swedish hologram band,â he chuckled nervously and you narrowed your eyes suspiciously.
âWow, you donât have an accent at all,â you scrutinized and he chewed his lip nervously. Â
âY/N! Youâre here! Ready to work on that lab?â Julie called as she stepped into the studio, heading straight to the couch where they usually worked and setting up her materials.
âUh, yeah,â you said, puzzled by her actions. She didnât even stop to look at Reggie. âYou didnât tell me your bandmates were coming in from Sweden.â
âWhat?â She asked, looking up from her materials. When she locked eyes with Reggie her eyes widened. âYou can see him?â
âYes, I can see your bandmate who speaks perfect English and has no accent whatsoever,â you said, raising your brow to indicate your suspicions. âThe jig is up, Molina. Spill.â
âOkay,â Julie sighed, âYouâd better sit down though.â
The three of them made their way to the couch, sitting in the same arrangement (unbeknownst to you) that youâd been sitting in for weeks now with you sandwiched between the two musicians. From this close up you could see the freckles that dotted Reggieâs cheeks and nose and the different flecks of colors in his blue eyes. Your breath caught in your throat as he smiled lightly at you, your eyes locking.
âOkay, lovebirds, youâll have time to stare dreamily into each otherâs eyes later,â Julie said, and you felt heat immediately rise to your cheeks as you looked down at your lap. âSo, this is gonna sound crazy but you have to go with me on this, okay?â
You nodded, turning to look at your friend curiously.
âTheyâre ghosts,â she said and your eyes widened at the explanation, looking back and forth between Julie and Reggie. âThey died twenty-five years ago and somehow I brought them back.â
âThis is insane,â you said, trying to keep an open mind but not believing it.
âItâs true,â Reggie said somewhat solemnly and you turned to stare at him in confusion. âOh, Julie! Show her the article about our deaths!â
Julie nodded, pulling out her phone and pulling up a webpage before handing it to you. The headline read Sunset Curve: A Hollywood Tragedy. The article detailed the tragic death of three-fourths of the band Sunset Curve right before their performance at the Orpheum in 1995. As you scrolled down you found a picture of three boys who were unmistakably Luke, Reggie, and Alex.
âYouâre ghosts.â You said quietly, handing Julie her phone back. âIf youâre dead how come I can see you?â
âWell, I donât really know,â Reggie admitted. âOnly Julie was able to see us before but some weird stuff happened last night so maybe it has to do with that?â
âWeird stuff?â
âWe were able to touch,â Julie explained. âBefore then we just passed through each other.â
âYeah! Our souls were going to be destroyed but then Julie saved us with a magic hug!â Reggie added and your eyebrows shot up.
âOkay youâre gonna have to back up and explain all that,â you laughed and Reggie grinned, immediately launching into a detailed and dramatic retelling of the events of the last few weeks. How theyâd come back as ghosts, found out they could still perform with Julie and that their old bandmate had betrayed them. You gasped at all the right places when he told you about meeting Caleb and the curse he put on them. When he explained the significance of their Orpheum performance and how upset heâd been when he thought you wouldnât see each other again.
You couldnât quite believe it but, well, a literal ghost was telling it to you so you supposed it came with the territory. You werenât sure when, but at some point in your conversation Julie had excused herself, leaving you and Reggie to talk alone.
âSo, you were sad you wouldnât see me again?â You asked curiously, trying to fight the heat rising to your cheeks at the implication.
âDevastated!â Reggie exclaimed, before quieting down as he realized the connotations. His cheeks turned red and he had to fight to look you in the eyes as he continued. âIâve had a crush on you since we performed Bright at your assembly.â
Your eyes widened at the confession and you beamed.
âReally? Iâve had a crush on you for just as long,â you admitted shyly.
âOh, I know!â Reggie beamed, and you stared at him. âI, uh, may have heard you talking to Julie about me on multiple occasions.â
âThatâs so embarrassing,â you groaned, putting your face in your hands to hide from the boy.
âHey, I thought it was adorable and really sweet,â Reggie reassured you, reaching out to gently pull your hands away from your face.
âReg, youâre touching me,â you gasped as you looked down at your hands with were still held in his.
You gasped softly again when you looked back up and found his eyes studying you thoughtfully. There was something in his eyes that you could only describe as intense as you stared at one another, faces subconsciously moving closer together until their noses were nearly touching.
âDoes that mean I can kiss you?â Reggie asked softly, squeezing your hands lightly and eyes flicking to your lips before returning to your own.
âIâd like to find out,â you whispered back.
As soon as the words were fully out of your mouth Reggie surged forward, connecting your lips. The kiss was soft and sweet, one of your hands slipping from his to reach up and cup his cheek. It was over all too soon but it was worth it to see the smile that broke out across his face. His hand came up to cover yours that was still resting on his cheek, his thumb softly stroking the back of your hand.
âThat was nice,â you breathed and he nodded in agreement.
âWanna do it again?â He asked brightly and you laughed, reconnecting your lips.
âWoah! Hey!â Julie exclaimed as she walked back into the garage. âI left so youâd have privacy to get to know each other, not get to know each otherâs mouths!â
The two of you jumped apart, your face heating up in embarrassment once again. You chanced a glance at Reggie and found his face red with embarrassment but the ghost boy was grinning cheekily at Julie. She rolled her eyes at the boy before shooing him away.
âWe have an exam to study for!â She reasoned as she pulled him from the couch, attempting to push him through the garage door.
Sheâd nearly managed it when Reggie poofed from her grasp and back to his place on the couch, leaning over to give you a quick peck on your cheek. He called out a goodbye as he ran from the garage, not wanting to face the wrath of Julie and you laughed, waving at him until Julie closed the door, blocking him from your view.

Kokichi, Shuichi, and Izuru fluff, no plot, just fluff
Kokichi Oma:
·      You awoke with a groan feeling some pressure. Quickly you almost panicked but realized it was Kokichi.
·      Though you didnât live with your best friend technically, you practically did. He kept much of his things in your apartment, coming and going as he pleased sometimes disappearing for a month or more, other times holding himself up in the place only going out on very brief, sort occasions. Heâd invite D.I.C.E. and his high school friends over whenever he pleased, even in the dead of night, he at least had the decency to make sure you werenât awoken and even left a sticky note on your forehead warning he had others over.
·      You were not surprised he was around but did wonder why he felt the need to use you as a pillow. Stroking your fingers through his hair you managed to get a hum out of him. He also hugged you tighter, snuggling into you. âCome on Oma. Itâs time to get up.â âNo itâs not.â He wined in that playful tone letting you know he was fully awake and just wanted to mess with you for a bit. âYes, it is. Now please let me go.â âNoooooooooooooooooo. Itâs your day ooooooooooooooooooooff. Spend time with me you meeeeeeaaaaaaaaniiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee.â You mindlessly played with his hair, twirling the ends around your finger as you thought over your predicament. â⊠At least get under the quilt so you donât catch yourself a cold. Iâm not going to look after you again.â âYay!â
·      Kokichi hopped off the bed, then threw the quilt and sheets high into the air, hopping under it as it fluttered down. He giggled wrapping his arms and legs around you in a tight embrace.
·      This was but a rather calm morning with Kokichi, innocuous in fact. Youâd have assumed he was tuckered out from his exploits the night prior, but he so excitedly chattered on about his adventures that could not be it. As he continued on you noticed the bags under his eyes. Perhaps he had an especially awful nightmare, or fought with someone he cares about, or maybe he just had a rough night, whatever the case may be, feeling how he clung to you so tightly, and so eagerly nuzzled into you as you hugged him, you at least knew he needed the affection, and were glad to be able to give it to him.
    Shuichi Saihara:
·      It was a lovely summer day; the sun shined down without a cloud obscuring that bright blue sky, a cooling breeze rolled past, swaying the grass and leaves, alleviating the world from the insufferable heat, the world just felt perfect for a moment, and Shuichi thought to go take a walk outside. Always doing his training in late evenings he never got to appreciate the outside in the light, or at least not too often. He thought the local park would be the perfect place and so there strolled around, adoring the warmth that tickled his skin.
·      He wondered when was the last time he had done something like this, just walking around for the sake of it alone, it couldnât have been back in high school when he was trying to get a feel for the grounds, was it? Though he was more of an indoors kind of person it was still so nice to get out once in a while. Especially curled up under the shade of a tree with a good book. That sounded just amazing to him and so he indulged himself and did just that!
·      âAh, it canât be, but it is! Saihara! Itâs good to see you buddy!â That voice! He placed down his book and saw exactly who he expected. âY/N, itâs so good to see you too.â You pranced up to him, a skip in our step, seemingly more lively than usual. âYou look great! How have you been? I see even you wouldnât resist this perfect weather!â You promptly sat beside him with a smile. âHey, whatâs that supposed to me!? I like being outside!â âReally? I couldnât tell with how you always kept yourself in the library.â You both got a chuckle out of this light teasing before Shuichi answered. âIâve been good. Honestly work had been piling up for a while now, but then a perfect day like this shows up and I just knew I needed a little break.â
·      You lightly nudged his shoulder, pointing to the book. âSo, whatâre you reading this time?â âUh, I was actually just about to find that out for myself. I just took the book from my pile of unread ones and set out.â âSo, you havenât even started it yet! Mind if I join in on the fun?â âI donât mind.â You eared yourself a light blush from the detective as you laid down, eagerly resting your head atop his lap. It was always so easy to fluster the man back then, but even years later he was just the same, the pair of you getting back into your old routine. Him reading aloud was some of your favorite memories of those times, and it was nice to see some things never change.
    Izuru Kamakura:
·      Finding even a place full of ultimates was boring Izuru ran away from the school at the same time as Chiakiâs class was graduating. Something in himself just knew this would be fitting and so that was when he made his escape. For a long time there after he simply wandered from place to place with no destination or anything like that in mind. He just survived doing menial jobs to get by but never stayed in one place for too long.
·      That was till he had met you though. âWell, if you donât have any goals you canât get anywhere fast. Why donât you stay at my place for a bit? I just have a tiny place so itâll be cramped, but in my line of work I get so see loads of different jobs, and maybe we could find one that catches your fancy.â And that was exactly what he did.
·      Being a freelance landscaper, you got to travel a lot and wherever you want, Izuru followed. Landscaper⊠Izuru believed that was a talent he possessed. Letting Izuru act as your assistant heâd often get opportunities to test out his skill, even letting him make plans and show them to your clients, but⊠âAw, donât feel so down. Iâm sure someone will choose your design over mine one of these days.â âIâm not upset, I just donât understand.â You draped an arm over his shoulders, pulling yourself closer as to get a better look at the plans he held in hand. âYou are something else. So skilled, implementing techniques even I donât know! But⊠I didnât even need to see these to know why.â He just looked to you, expressionless. âYou lack passion.â â⊠Passion? But I have raw skill.â âSure, but people can only see skill, however they can feel passion. If you donât enjoy yourself others can feel that. People naturally are attracted to passion, passion is something special that skill can never replace! Like before this, I used to be a doctor, but I just was not happy and I could see that hurt my patients, they deserved someone who truly loved fixing the human body, so I quit and made my gardening hobby into my job! AndâŠâ You let go of him, strolling over to the plants. You kneeled down, Izuru doing the same beside you, examining as you tended to the rose bush, doing some trimming. âIt was the greatest decision of my life.â He continued to watch as you so lovingly worked the plants, assisting you with anything you needed for this new project.
·      Passion⊠the happiness he could feel emanating from you as you worked⊠could he feel that, not just from you but himself? He honestly did not know. He was so apathetic to everything, could he ever feel anything else? For years he wondered that as he continued to stay by your side. That was till one day. After getting back home from your latest job Izuru went straight to the rooftop garden, finding all his plants were untouched by the neighbors. As he inspected them, he suddenly saw his own reflection. He knew it was himself but he didnât recognize it. It was himself, smiling, something heâd never seen before. He looked to you who was beside him in aw and confusion, finding you were holding a mirror before him. You didnât say a word as you simply put it back into your pocket before asking him about his flowers. He didnât answer for a moment, realizing something. He heart picked up in pace at the thought of your rowdy neighbors messing with his plants. He just planted these thinking having some flowers on hand could be useful for your job, but⊠he spent the majority of his time doing this, even watching over the flowers when there honestly was no reason too⊠You noticed how his eyes glossed over as he just kept staring at his beloved flowers. âKamakura, are you okay?â He looked to you, again just staring. You were going to say more but thenâŠ
·      Like the flowers he spent his time with you, even if there was no reason too. He just found himself compelled to help you, to just sit in the same room as you even if neither of you were doing anything. He⊠he was passionate about his flowers and you, so he hugged you, his only friend in this entire world. There was no reason for it, he just felt he needed to do so, and so he did.

*Check out our Cartel Daddy in part 2 of this love/lust triangle here
Your eyes caught his across the factory floor. He was making his way towards you, a self-assured smirk decorating his bearded lips. He stopped to greet one of the workers, winking and smile at the passing women with all the charm of a teenage boy. His swagger was undeniable, his confidence radiating like a neon sign. He was a man that knew what he was doing, knew what he was capable of. If the fine lines decorating his face and the grey in his facial hair didnât give him away, the glint behind those warm cocoa eyes did. He had experience. The kind of experience that captured your attention, in more ways than one.
âObispo,â You greeted coolly, unwilling to let him bear witness to your more than business-like interest in him.
âQueridaâŠâ He responded, smirking and moving in for the obligatory kiss on the cheek.
You didnât chastise him for the pet name. You may be one of Miguel Galindoâs most trusted employees, but you were still a woman in a male-dominated world. Running a cartel was surprisingly conservative work. The men treated you like a woman instead of as an equal, and while that used to piss you off, Miguel had taught you to utilize your feminine strength. So you did. You batted your eyelashes and laughed when you were supposed to. But the minute someone crossed the organization, you were front and center putting a bullet between their eyes. It was the nature of the game.
So you let the demeaning names go and you let the men think they were smarter than you. It always came back to bite them in the ass later.
But Bishop was different. He may be old-school, but you knew he respected you. You were the middle man for him and Miguel and heâd confided in you many times that heâd rather look at you than have to see another pressed suit. You had laughed at that despite the dig at your boss.
You accepted the kiss he offered and forced the heat of attraction down as his eyes quickly, but not so discreetly, appraised your figure. You smiled, pleased with his examination of you. Your heels clicked as you turned and beckoned him to follow you, your pencil skirt suddenly feeling too tight. His eyes were on you. You could feel them burning a hole in your back. You reveled in the attention, feeling your nipples begin to harden against the lace of your bra. Thank god you hadnât worn a white blouse today.
âShipment ready to go?â You asked over your shoulder, hearing his heavy steps follow close behind. The rest of the Mayan crew were situated at tables, lining the traditional dresses of womanhood with your product.
âYeah, tonight. As planned.â He supplied, gesturing to the box truck being loaded.
You nodded, pleased with the sight. You didnât necessarily have to be here to facilitate, but youâd decided at the last minute to swing by. Bishop had things under control as usual. And you got to ogle him under the guise of management, though you were sure you were fooling no one.
âGood. You have any issues give me a call.â You recited dutifully. He nodded, that smirk still staring back at you as if he found the whole thing amusing.
âWill do.â
âDid they get the new patterns we sent over?â
Bishop nodded, rubbing at his facial hair. âYeah, theyâve made some already. Wanna see?â
âSure.â You said as you followed him this time. He led you to the back, a locked storage room your destination. It was practically deserted back there and you were glad for it.
Bishop opened the door and allowed you to pass before him, winking as you did. You smiled bashfully, trying hard to hide it. The door closed with a heavy thud behind you both as you made your way over the rack of dresses. Miguel had sent over a new sewing pattern for the ladies, the new design allowing for more product to be moved in one dress. You inspected the delicate craftsmanship, in awe of the womenâs talent. It looked exactly how Miguel had wanted. Heâd be pleased.
âAll good, princesa?â Bishopâs deep voice sounded against your neck, his proximity a lot closer than youâd ever been to him before. You could feel the heat of him behind you, not pressing into you but close.
His words sent shivers down your spine, his nearness making a rush of adrenaline pool in your panties. His hot breath on your neck made your heartbeat journey down and stop right between your legs.
âGreat. These look great.â You managed to say, voice now raspy with raw lust. You shifted your neck a fraction of an inch, allowing him more room. You were inviting him to take it further, assuring him you wanted to.
His fingertips danced along your waist, barely touching you but setting your skin ablaze all the same. He stepped closer, pressing himself against you. You gripped the dresses in desperation as his beard scraped at your neck. His lips didnât move and you groaned in impatience. He only laughed.
âWe donât have time to fuck around, Bishop.â You bit out, trying to goad him into action.
Again he laughed, the chuckle tickling your skin and forcing your heart to beat double-time.
âSay it again.â
âWhat?â You asked in confusion, trying to comprehend what it was he was demanding of you.
âMy nameâŠsay it again.â
You moaned in response, pushing your ass back against him. His words made your whole body feel drunk. Your limbs felt heavy. Your lips ached for his. Your lower half sought him out desperately. Your pussy clenched in need. Your nipples peaked against the fabric of your blouse. You wanted him. You wanted him bad.
âObispo.â You purred, purposely using his legal name. Youâd never heard anyone else call him that. The idea of you being the only one gave you a rush of power you hadn't realized youâd been searching for.
Silent elation flooded you at his quick intake of breath and the low groan that sounded seconds later. His fingertips no longer hovered, but instead latched onto your hips and held your ass to him. He cradled you against his hardening cock, the ridge of the zipper making you lean forward ever-so-slightly out of instinct. Bishopâs hips jutted in response, his excitement overflowing at seeing your bent position.
âFucking shitâŠâ He cursed, rough hands rubbing sensuously at your ass. âYou sure you wanna do this?â
His hands were already drifting down to the hem of your skirt. You bent forward again, letting your ass push back into his stiff cock.
âFuck yesâŠâ You moaned, both in response and encouragement of his hands at your thighs. He pulled the constricting fabric of your skirt up, revealing your thighs and ass. He skimmed a hand over the flesh, pulling at the lace of your thong as he did so. The fabric caught on your clit, forcing a moan from you lips.
âShhhh, preciosa.â Bishop gently chastised, his thick finger running from your lower back to the flooded slit between your thighs.
The sound of fabric ripping was ignored, the seam of one of the dresses youâd been gripping now split. The hangers strained against the weight of your hold, but you didnât care. You needed the support against Bishopâs unrelenting hands. He teased your clit, dipping his fingers into your wetness and then back out again. His other hand groped your breast through the silk of your blouse, pinching your nipples with precision.
He was manipulating your body exactly how he needed. And you fell right into his clutches, letting him do as he pleased. You arched into his touch, you ass continuing to push back until he gave you what you needed.
âBishop, pleaseâŠâ
His mouth attacked your neck, his tongue dancing along the flesh in erotic fashion. He soothed the burn left behind from his facial hair, lapping at you tenderly. He showed no signs of acknowledging your plea.
âBishop, goddammit.â You cursed as the seconds passed by without his cock stuffing you full. He made no move to release himself from his jeans. His inaction forced you into action. Your hand left the dresses and reached behind you, feeling for the buckle on his jeans.
âWhatâre you doing?â He gritted out. He wasnât stopping you, so you forged ahead.
âKnitting a sweater.â You deadpanned, failing to release his belt with one hand. âA little help?â
Devilish laughter filled your ears once again.
âYes maâam.â
You rolled your eyes in response. Bishop would use this occasion to address you as something other than the terms of endearment heâd been using. Something that denoted respect.Â
Ironic.
A moan, loud and satisfying, left your lips at the feel of Bishopâs warm, hard flesh meeting yours. Heâd finally pulled himself from his jeans, letting his cock sit dangerously close to your begging walls. You could feel the wetness already dotting the tip of him, the liquid smearing across your ass. You pushed back while he rutted against you, your bodies needy and seeking friction.
âReady?â He asked, biting at your earlobe as he did. You could feel the weight of him pressing against your entrance, the head barely slipping past but already making your muscles burn. His hand was holding your panties to the side, affording him the perfect view.
âYes. Do it.â You demanded breathlessly, jutting your ass out further. He let his cock slide against your opening, coating himself. Each pass caused him to bump your clit. You struggled to stay still, ready to implode from the inside out. Just when you were about to tell him to fuck off, he finally entered you.
âFucking hellâŠâ
âJesusâŠâ
You both released ragged curses at the joining of your bodies. You could feel him throbbing against your heat, feel the ridges of his thick cock as your walls squeezed around him. He nudged at your cervix, the angle ensuring you were about to get the most intense fucking youâd ever had. He began to move, sliding effortlessly in and out. Your pussy contracted, your climax already embarrassingly close.
âHarder.â You demanded, thankful that the racks you were supporting yourself on were cemented into the ground.
Bishop grunted, his hips acquiescing your request. He thrust so hard you almost went headfirst into the cement wall. He caught you though, his hand gripping your hip and keeping you mercilessly attached to him. You whimpered at the brute force of it, the tingles of euphoria getting stronger with each plunge.
âI can feel how close you are. Cum for me, querida.â
Your walls tremored in response, as if proving his statement. He growled, his hips faltering at your tightness. He let both of his hands come together at your hips, stabilizing you for his oncoming assault. You bit your lip, trying to keep your delirious moans at bay. The slap of skin reverberated throughout the room as he fucked you with all the savagery of a wild animal. Despite your effort, noises of extreme pleasure flew past your lips. You trailed a hand down to bathe your abandoned clit with attention. Within seconds you were coming.
âShit, shit, shitâŠâ You chanted as your entire body convulsed in intense waves, the orgasm so powerful that it felt like it lasted for hours. Your eyes were squeezed shut and all you could do was hope that Bishop kept his firm hold on you.
âFuck babyâŠthat feels fucking good.â He praised, letting you ride out your pleasure. You spasmed until your energy was drained and your mind had traveled back to earth. His touch still burned you, but in a much different way. You were utterly satiated and still yearning for more.
He resumed his movements only when he felt you lazily push back, signaling you were ready for him to continue. He started off slow once again, but sped up as he got closer to his own climax. Your pussy came to life once again, struggling to grasp against him as he thrust. Your release coated you both, making it difficult for him to stay buried inside you.
You hissed when he hit that intensely sensitive spot within you, forcing you to try and pull away. But he didnât let you. Instead, he held you tighter while he thrust faster. The grip on your hips hurt, but the extreme pleasure between your thighs eclipsed it. You could feel his hips start to falter as he dived right off the cliff to join you.
Warm spurts of his cum filled you. The sensation was almost as fulfilling as your own orgasm. You felt his entire body tighten up before it released and practically went immobile. His hands drifted from your body, his cock barely inside you anymore with the abundance of moisture between the two of you. His breathing was ragged, coming out in rapid succession. He steadied you as you moved to straighten yourself, your legs now teetering on your heels. The sound of his belt buckle alerted you to his movements as you shifted your skirt back down. You were both attempting to appear as if you hadnât fucked in a storage closet full of quinceañera dresses. And while you both were still on the clock.
You adjusted your blouse, tucking it back into your skirt. You met Bishopâs gaze, dead-set on not jeopardizing your working relationship. He cracked a lazy smile, showcasing his now sluggish mood.Â
You laughed.
He joined in, shaking his head as he did. âMiguelâs gonna kill us.â
âNot if he doesnât find out. You plan on calling him up to tell him?â You teased.
âThought about it.â He shot back, the humor clearly displayed all over his face.
âAnd why would you do that?â You arched a brow and crossed your arms.
Bishop stepped into your space once again, licking his lips as he held your stare. You waited with baited breath, heart back to pounding wildly against your breast bone.
âTo let him know I fucked you and he still hasnât.â Bishop all but gloated.
âAnd what makes you think he hasnât?â You replied with obvious attitude.
âThe way he looks at you. That man hangs on your every word. Itâs almost fucking sad.â
You blinked, not shocked by his observation, but still surprised. You and Miguel had a past. One that did not include you sleeping together though it had gotten close. Youâd made it your own rule to never sleep with the men you worked with. It was imperative that they respected you.Â
But Bishop had been different. Bishop had experience that made you feel like a novice with most things. You supposed that was the allure.
He pulled a cigarette from the pack hidden inside his leather. A silver lighter appeared from his jean pocket, the flame already dancing against the end of the stick in his mouth.
âSay a word of this and Iâll have you silenced in a heartbeat, El Presidente.â You warned. You knew he wouldnât, but you could never be too careful. Men liked to think they were superior and above emotion, but they could be worse than any woman youâd ever known. Their dicks seemed to always get in the way of logic and the last thing you needed was a pissing contest to take place between the two alphas.Â
Bishop paused, eyes narrowing at your obvious threat. He sucked in a mouthful of smoke and let it plume out and into your face. He laughed at your words, but you could still see the seriousness in his expression. But you didnât back down. You may have just let him fuck you, but he wasnât the one that signed your paychecks. Nor did you take orders from him. The cartel was bigger than him. And he knew that. Â
âOh, I have no doubtâŠprincesa.â

Cherry
Pairing: Lily Evans x Reader
Word Count: 2.4kÂ
Warnings: Angsty but nothing more
Requested: No. It is a song fic for Cherry by Harry Styles. I would also like to say the music notes headers are to show the instrumental portions of the song which I believe add to the fic.Â
Summary: In which, you struggle to move on from you and Lilyâs past relationship.Â
âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ
The cool air bit at your neck under the willow tree that day.Â
Leaves fell majestically by your side as you faced the cold, a scarf around your shoulders, mittens covering your palms and boots on your feet.Â
But although your body was protected from the bitter chill of November, nothing could save you from the frigid emptiness inside your mind.Â
It seemed Lily Evans had made a large indentation in your life.Â
For worse or for better.Â
Donât you call him âbabyâÂ
Weâre not talking lately
Donât you call him what you used to call me
James Potter.Â
Oh, how you had hated him.Â
You remembered his pestering presence. Each and every Hogsmeade trip you and Lily had spent together was always greeted with glasses and a smirk you had grown to hate but Lily would grow to love.Â
At first you had been angry. There was no doubt in anyoneâs mind that James Potter fancied Lily Evans. He didnât try to hide it, in fact he was proud to be rejected by her. But months later, when Lily had moved on, you realized you couldnât blame him. No one had known of those secret moments shared between you and Lily Evans. No one knew of the stolen kisses in hidden corridors, the late night rendezvous in the kitchen or the hands that were intertwined under the table. James Potter hadnât known that those days he spent pestering were more than just an outing with a friend.Â
You couldnât stay mad at him.Â
It wouldnât have been fair.Â
But you were angry and that had been the problem. You couldnât be mad at James for his ignorance. There were days you desperately wished you could be mad at Lily Evans. She had always insisted on keeping your relationship a secret. Few people knew of the love shared between the two of you. Only Lilyâs trusted friends. She had insisted yours would tell someone in the end.Â
Begrudgingly, you had agreed to her words. Most of your relationship was spent in secret or in the confidence of Mary, Marlene, and Dorcas, who you soon grow to love dearly. You knew now that Lily hadnât been fair. But yet, you couldnât find the power to be angry with her.Â
So you stayed angry at yourself.Â
A month had gone by since you had ended things and the few glimpses you saw of Lily she was linked hand in hand with James. You watched as he pressed kisses to her cheeks in front of the world, tucking her cherry red hair behind her ear. They always sat tucked away in the corner, surrounded by ever growing flowers. No matter how far away from them you were you could always hear her whispers to him. That magical word that used to belong to you and only you.Â
âBabyâ she would say, her lips forming the vowels perfectly.Â
And each time the word was said James Potter would smile and you would only look away, your mind lingering back to those moments when she had called you hers.Â
I⊠I confess
I can tell that you are at your best
Iâm selfish so Iâm hating itÂ
Walking down the sun lit halls had become bittersweet.Â
For there she was, walking side by side with James Potter, a large smile on her face. You hadnât seen that smile in a long time. In the beginning it had always been there. Her smile was beautiful, a perfect compliment to that cherry red hair that you loved so deeply. You had loved that you were the person who got to see it the most.Â
But now James saw it every hour of every day as you had once before. Maybe he thought about it each night as he went to sleep as you had done and continued to do each night. Lilyâs smile had left you a long time ago and now it seemed to have returned.Â
And although her smile produced a warm feeling in the pit of your chest, your mind wallowed in a bitter cold due to the fact that she was smiling without you. Her figure disappeared from view and that selfish pit turned into a bitter hatred towards yourself.Â
You were happy for Lily.Â
At least you were trying to be.Â
I notice that
Thereâs a piece of you in how I dress
Take it as a complimentÂ
Lily had buried herself deeper than you had thought.Â
It became clear to you when you had shuffled through your collection of clothes. Your typical outfit consisted of frayed jeans and a cardigan; a basic look. Today you were going to Hogsmeade and although you were going with a friend you decided to get dressed up for the occasion.Â
That was when you had noticed the floral pattern that had once littered your floor.Â
Lily had loved sundresses. You remembered shopping hours looking for the perfect one. âIt has to match my hair and eyes.â she would say. Each time you would roll your eyes but in reality she had always looked gorgeous in every one she tried on. She had soon pestered you into buying one.Â
âCome on, Y/N/N. Youâll look amazing in the flower one.âÂ
So you had tried it on and the pattern had grown on you. It didnât help that her face always lit up when you wore it. Now she was gone and you could only stare at the blue flower petals that blossomed on the contrasting white of the fabric. Time was ticking and you wouldnât let thoughts of her spoil your day.Â
You slipped on the dress quickly.Â
You couldnât deny she had amazing taste.Â
Donât you call him âbabyâÂ
Weâre not talking latelyÂ
Donât you call him what you used to call meÂ
Her actions hurt.Â
Ignoring you, that was.Â
Very few people questioned the drifting friendship between you two. Before you would walk together, side by side, hips bumping each other softly. Now, you walked opposite ends of the corridor, those emerald green eyes never meeting yours.Â
In a way it was a blessing. The lack of words between you and her. You knew deep down that if you had to look into those eyes again or watch the freckles on her face dance that your chilled exterior would soon fall apart. Youâd remember those nights spent in the greenhouses watching as the magical lunar flowers budded in the streaks of moonlight. Youâd recall the music you once danced to in your home over the summer as the sun set in the English countryside.Â
Emerald green eyes and cherry red hair would lead you to remember every kiss and every study date. Days spent in grassy fields on sunny days or stormy nights cuddled by the fire. You were even reminded of the smallest things like the exchanging of books, a tap to the nose and long conversations that were lost in the void of the night. Memories would flood your mind and you would soon drown in their depth.Â
For once, you were thankful to be ignored.Â
âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ
Lily had been your only friend.Â
That was a slight exaggeration but it felt that way. You talked to other people and they were kind. But none of them had the connection you and Lily had once shared. Without her by your side it was as if you were travelling with only half a heart. Half a soul. Lily had acted as your compass and without her you lost all sense of direction.Â
So you watched her from the window.Â
There she was, laughing loudly alongside Potter and his friends. Their feet left prints on the shore of the lake. They splashed at her, an act that a younger Lily would have scolded them for. But she looked so happy, a smile shining bright for her beloved Potter. Your hand rested on your chin and a sad smile made its way to your face.Â
Their laughs echoed in the blank slate of your mind.Â
I... I just missÂ
I just miss your accent and your friendsÂ
Did you know I still talk to them?Â
Today was one of the rare moments you felt completely at peace.Â
Marlene, Mary, and Dorcas walked at your sides, small smiles on their lips. You hadnât seen them in a while as they had always been closer to Lily and you knew they preferred her company. But even after you and Lily had fallen off they had acted as your friends.Â
After walking down the cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade you finally asked the question that hung at the tip of your tongue. âHow is she?âÂ
All their eyes averted to the ground. Marlene was the first one to speak up, nervously playing with the ends of her blonde hair, âGood.â she said simply, âShe seems to be doing good.âÂ
Her words were confirmed by a nod from Mary and a sigh from Dorcas. You nodded in return, pushing your hands into your pockets, âIs she happy?âÂ
Marlene smiled sadly, âYeah.â she replied, âVery.âÂ
âGood.â was the only answer you supplied.Â
You could feel the peaceful day you had envisioned falling apart. Mentions of Lily sent your mind into a spiraling void of emotion in which you had hoped to avoid but instead you had wrestled the tiger head on. Unfortunately, the tiger had won.Â
And now she was coming back to gloat.Â
âMarls!â
You froze as did the three other girls. Her voice rang in your ears. You hadnât heard it in a long time. At least not this clear. You could hear the sweet tone of her voice that no one else in the world seemed to hold. Each syllable, as melodious as a birds song. Maryâs eyes fell on you, watching as you shrunk away from the scene.Â
Her voice was the last sound you heard as you walked away from the pain she embodied so deeply.Â
Does he take you walking âround his parentsâ gallery?Â
Compared to James Potter you didnât have much to offer.Â
The Potters were a well-known family. Rich but humble. Pure but not prejudice. They were the picture perfect wizarding family with their abundance of talent and Quidditch skills being passed to their son; a bright boy with a knack for causing trouble.Â
You werenât anything special. A single mother who worked around the clock to keep you supported. An absent father who had left when you were a child. Your life wasnât tragic but it was far from perfect. You could never offer Lily the world in her hands. Each gift came with a price; an extra hour of work for your mother, a summer job for you to work.Â
Lily had always understood and she hadnât asked for more than you could offer. She had appreciated the small things you would give her with a smile and a kiss. It was one of your favorite things about her. She had the unique ability to understand and be content whilst you felt pent up with your lack of wealth and inability to supply her with wonders.Â
Surprisingly, whenever you passed her in the halls and saw the necklace Potter had bought her around her neck, you felt happy. Although anger always lingered in your heart, you were glad someone was able to give her what she deserved.Â
It wasnât you and you were slowly learning to accept that.Â
Donât you call him âbabyâ
Weâre not talking lately
Donât you call him what you used to call meÂ
Your final year at Hogwarts passed by in a blur. You watched Lily Evans slowly fall in love with the boy who had always wanted her. She smiled all the time now, her eyes never wandered towards yours and as much as it pained you that they didnât, you hoped she had found peace.Â
Donât you call him âbabyâÂ
Weâre not talking latelyÂ
Donât you call him what you used to call meÂ
As for you, peace seemed to be out of question.Â
Peace was watching her be happy with someone who wasnât you. It was watching her relationship from afar and catching moments where the two of you had gone wrong but James had gotten it right. Even without her by your side, Lily Evans played a major role in your life. Your eyes always wandered into her life where you werenât wanted anymore.Â
You watched her take James to the end of year ball. His friends became her friends and she quickly took after them slightly. She owned a leather jacket and often studied with Remus in her spare time. She baked with Peter and you desperately wished that somewhere⊠somehow, you fit into the equation.Â
But you didnât.Â
âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ
So you watched her graduate top of the year, cherry red hair blazing as she smiled.Â
You read of her joining the Order of the Phoenix, Dorcas expressing her worries in the letters she sent.Â
You stared emptily at the letter from Dorcas, sending news of James and Lilyâs wedding.Â
Nothing could move you off the floorboards of your flat.Â
âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ
The morning of August 11th was foggy but in the hills of Scotland they were shining on a bride with cherry red hair and her groom.Â
You hadnât been invited to Lilyâs wedding and for that you were grateful. You knew that today was the day. Dorcas and you had kept up correspondence and she knew you well enough to know that you were curious of Lilyâs affairs.Â
That morning you found yourself sitting in front of a box of memories. What stuck out to you was a tape. No label was on it but a small heart. Curiosity tickled your mind and after a minute you stuck the tape into the cassette player.Â
First came the static.Â
Then her voice.Â
âIs it on?â you said, your voice coming through muffled on the speaker, âYeah.âÂ
Her voice was muffled as well, but you knew it by heart. Her melodious laugh followed and just from that you could picture her hair, the color of cherries and her eyes sparkling like emeralds. âWell, Y/N⊠are you going to say something.âÂ
You froze, concentrating deeply to hear through the static, âI guess Iâll say⊠I love you Lily Evans!âÂ
She laughed and it was the realest thing you had heard in months, âYouâre so cheesy, Y/N/N.âÂ
âWell, one day weâll listen to this and you wonât be saying that.â you reply with a chuckle.Â
âAlright. Alright. I guess weâll say goodbye for now.â she said, her words burning in your mind.Â
âGoodbye!âÂ
âGoodbye!âÂ
The static returned once more and the weight of the world seemed to fall on your shoulders.
You finally let out a long-awaited sob.
âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘ-âȘÂ

Tonight You Belong To Me || K.H
Summary: Donât fuck around where you shouldnât be.
Pairing: Kim Hongjoong x Reader
Words: A fair share
Genre: Smut, Angst, Fluff
â cheating, violence, spanking, choking, over stimulating â
A/N: Quick note! I know âCon Te PartirĂłâ is a song from the late 1900 and the Titanic happened in the early 1900, but I went on a cruise and every time the cruise docked that song played so I thought it was fitting. Enojy đ
áŽÊ: ÊáŽÊÉŽáŽê±ÊáŽÊáŽáŽ
ê±áŽÉŽÉą
It was the classical love story dispised by the socially imposed rules: two teenagers living in a hierarchy that obliged them to never date outside of their social circle.Â
Hongjoong saw you the second you stepped in the docks. He watched you from the hatch of the bedroom he was staying in, all contorted and hunched over so he could take a better look at you. He could only dream from afar, however⊠He knew by way you were dressed in your tight, white, knee-length, button-up jacket and matching cartwheel hat that you would never settle for him, Hell, you would never even look at a lowlife like him⊠But he prayed that maybe you or your family would request a song, or maybe youâd want a special melody composed for you, and thatâs where heâd come in.Â
When you stepped inside the ship and fell out of his line of vision his shoulders slumped and he sighed. The ship was enormous, odds are he wouldnât be able to find youâŠ
Nevertheless, Hongjoong picked up his suit jacket and put it on for the departure ceremony. He played all of the concerts, it was tiring but once the owner of the ship had found a stupid kid that loved music and was in need of money he just extorted him as much as possible. Hongjoong didnât mind, though⊠He got free food, a rent-free place and he played music as a job. His life would be perfect if it werenât for the rich, snobby, stuck-up people who constantly looked down on him.
He sighed and dusted off his old coat. It was the only one that he owned, but at least it was semi-fancy⊠It was good enough to decrease the nasty looks he was given at least.
Whenever he left his room he never bothered to bother lock it, because what would anybody steal? A pen?Â
Hongjoong walked down the carpeted halls as he made his way to the main area of the cruise ship. It was a big dining hall, decorated in gold and red, with very dim lighting to set the mood. He looked around and inspected the people as he paced towards the shiny black piano that sat on the stage. He had always thought it was unfair that this room on a ship was more luxurious than any place he had ever ownedâŠ
His fingers grazed along the black and white keyboard for a second, thinking of what to play. Hongjoong had never learned to read music sheets, he started playing songs by ear since he couldnât afford to pay for a music teacher, and it was wonderful to see how he closed his eyes, found the desired keys, and played them beautifully solely by experience.
âCon TĂ© Partiroâ was a favorite of his to play as the ship departed. He felt like it was a fitting song for the occasion, even though most people didnât know it.Â
The three hours of the ceremony passed by in the blink of an eye, and the fact that Hongjoongâs fingers were burning and his back was aching was unimportant, he always left the stage wishing he could play more.
Hongjoong stood up and bowed to the crowd. Even though he was always ignored and never received any appreciation because everyone was too focused on their own affairs (or because they thought he was undeserving of their attention), he still made sure to bow, as a sign of thankfulness and respect every time.Â
This time around, however, he heard a faint clapping sound as he inclined his head.Â
He shot his body up immediately and followed the sound. He locked eyes with your glee-filled ones as you clapped your hands together.Â
The immediately smiled, filled with an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. He felt like the luckiest man on earth, to have his talent recognized by such a beautiful woman... His face fell when a man grabbed your hands, to stop you from congratulating Hongjoong for the wonderful performance, and gave you a warning look. You just nodded along and lowered your head when the male told you to stop being extravagant.
Hongjoong wished he could do something about the situation, he wished he could go up to you and thank you specifically for your attention, but he had to hurry out of the room so he could be ready in time for the next performance. His schedule was always packed, and he never seemed to mind.Â
That was, until music started sharing a place with you in his heart.
There you were⊠Beautiful as ever, wearing a green Edwardian dress with lace appliques, twirling and swirling in all of your glory to the bassistsâ songs. He shouldâve gone up to the stage to prepare his piano, but he couldnât, he had to hear your voice, he wanted to hear what you sounded like, and once he did, oh was he charmed. You were like a muse, enticing him with every word of yours.Â
He walked past every couple and every child aboard to get to you. Hongjoong very hesitantly reached out his hand to tap your shoulder. You turned around and immediately met his face. The two of you were lost in each otherâs eyes for a long second, sharing a silent, intense moment. You knew who he was, you had just seen his performance after all, and you had to admit that he was strikingly beautiful. You couldnât put your finger on it, maybe it was the hint of pureness and innocence his face had, or maybe it was the way he so naturally attracted you with his music, but you were certain of something: you were very much drawn to him.
Hongjoong held his hand for you to take.
   âCould I interest you in a song?âÂ
You took his hand and smiled, with a faint blush rising on your cheeks.
You opened your mouth to reply but your hand was quickly snatched away, and you were pulled behind a tall figure.
âYou could interest my wife in leaving.â
Hongjoong was visibly taken aback by the male, and by the new, saddening information.
Any man would be discouraged by the fact, but not Hongjoong. Call him stupid or romantic, but he wasnât willing to give you up (even though you werenât even his) just because you were married.
You looked up at him and mouthed a small âsorryâ, and you were shocked to find him⊠smirking. Was this amusing to the stranger?
Hongjoong nodded at the crude man and said nothing else, before heading to the stage. You watched him, confusedly. The bassists eyed him furiously, as they were supposed to have finished their act long ago, but Hongjoong didnât care. He waited for them to clear the scene so he could sit on his piano. Heâd usually have a routine all planned out, and that night was no different, except the idea for a last-second addition popped up in his head, and he just went with it.
His fingers skimmed the keyboard for the second time that day, and he started playing the tune of âTonight You Belong With Meâ. He was hoping you recognized the tune, after all, he couldnât steal a glance at you, afraid that heâd get knocked by your significant other.
Never in a million years would he have had the courage to do such a thing, but after he realized that he had caught your attention, that the most beautiful girl heâd ever seen knew of his existence, he felt unstoppable.
Hongjoong was leaning on the handrail, looking at the waves crashing against the boat as he waited for his turn to join the stage. It was calm and silent until a voice echoed in the bow of the ship. Hongjoong closed his eyes, appreciating the familiar tune, thinking that it was the performer's voice singing from the salon. The beautiful voice got closer, however, and so he opened his eyes and looked around to find the owner.
"I know, that you belong to someone new, but tonight..."
His eyes landed on you, walking towards him slowly, in a seducing way, as if the whole world was yours. He smiled and kept listening and watching as you stepped closer and closer.
"... you belong to me."
You two were a mere centimeters apart, almost able to feel each other's breath.
"I see my song choice was of your liking." Hongjoong told you.
You chuckled at him and smiled.
"Very much so. You were very lucky my husband knew no such song, or else he'd have you dangling off the ship. I don't think he'd appreciate another man playing a love song for me on out honeymoon." You said to him, breaking out a smile.
"I'm glad he didn't recognize it then. Congratulations on your wedding Miss." Hongjoong congratulated, his voice's tone dropping a little.
You hummed.
"Arranged marriage. I love him as much as you do."
Your eyes traveled down to his lips, loving their beautiful shape and natural, vibrant colour. He noticed the fact and smirked. Hongjoong realized that it was either now or never. This encounter, the information you had just given him... It was no coincidence. The male placed a hand on your hip and lightly brought you closer.
"Certainly you won't mind me doing this then."
He placed his lips on top of yours, softly and quickly. It was enough for you to know that you wanted to repeat it. When you two pulled away, very slowly, eyes still glued on each other's lips, a faint blush spread on your cheeks, as well as on his.
"You surely are shameless..." You commented, in a shy whisper.
"Well, is my shamelessness of your liking?"
There was a couple seconds of silence, as you thought of how inappropriate your behaviour was, but you didn't care. You had done so much for others, it was now your turn.
"Very much so."
----------------
You giggled as Hongjoong pushed you against the wall of the small closet filled with the performersâ clothes. He pampered your face and neck with sloppy kisses.
âHongjoong!â You squealed when he bit down on your skin.
The man placed a soft kiss on your lips and gripped your hips a little tighter.
âWeâre gonna get caught Y/N!â He whispered and giggled at your cute little squeal.
The stage was rowdy and the show playing just on the outside of that door, covering any noise.Â
âI donât care.â You told him.
You grabbed his face and brought him closer to you, pressing your lips to his in a long kiss. Hongjoong smiled into the kiss before deepening it by inserting his tongue in your mouth, fighting with yours in a playful way.
That night you wore a particularly tight dress, that had less layers than all your previous ones, and as a consequence, when you moved against his body, you felt his hard-on press against your hip.
You squeezed your thighs closer together, as a new feeling of excitement spread through your body.
Your little escapades had never gone past kissing, and some shy touching, but the ever growing tension between the two of you was ought to snap at some point.
One of your hands hesitantly left his nape and travelled down his body, feeling the way his stomach tensed at your movements. Your fingers found their way onto Hongjoong's hard cock, trailing its curve softly.
He pulled away from the kiss and looked at you.
"Y/N, are you sure you want to do this?..." He asked quietly.
You looked up at him, with big doe eyes, and nodded while biting your lip.
The male mumbled a soft 'fuck' under his breath.
He placed a kiss under your ear, then one to your cheek.
Hongjoong looked around for a second, until his eyes landed on a dark cloak. He ripped the piece of clothing from its hanger and swung it over your shoulder and covered your head with the hood. The male grabbed your hand and walked out of the small room, hoping they wouldn't be seen, and took you to the place where he slept in.
It wasn't much. It was barely anything really... But you didn't care. The moment you stepped in the room, you looked Hongjoong in the eye and started undoing the buttons of your dress.
He watched you curiously, with a dirty yet loving smile on his face.
The dress fell from your shoulders and pooled around your feet, leaving you only in your white corset and matching stockings.
Hongjoong hummed and approached you slowly, placing btoh his hands on your waist and bringing you closer.
    "You're so fucking beautiful..."
Hongjoong locked his lips with yours, as he focused on getting the troublesome corset away from your body.
When he finally ripped all pieces of clothing obstructing his view from your body, he hurriedly removed his own. Hongjoong couldn't handle not having his hands on you.
He couldn't get enough of you, he became high whenever you were with him.
Once you were both down to skin only, he pushed you down onto his bed, and immediately attacked your chest.
His husky, dominant voice brought a new wave of arousal upon you.
Your fingers gripped onto his hair tighter and tighter when his lips met one of your nipples and sucked on it harshly. As his mouth focused on your breasts, his fingers parted your folds and played with you pussy. You tried to be quiet, as to not get Hongjoong in trouble, but you couldn't. He worked on your body as if he was an expert, and the little moans and whimpers were hard to contain.
One of your hands found its way to his leaking length. Your finger swiped across his slit, and Hongjoong moaned against your skin.
   "Hongjoong, please..."
Upon hearing your moany little beg, Hongjoong's personality shifted. He gripped your jaw and leveled his face with yours.
"Tell me what you want baby girl."
You sucked in a breath and bucked your hips against his finger. Hongjoong spanked your pussy as a way of punishment for being too eager.
"Use your words doll, I want to hear you beg for my cock."
"I need you to fuck me Hongjoong, please!"
Hongjoong spread your legs for him and settled between them. He placed his tip at your entrance and pushed in, slowly, giving you time to adjust.
Once he saw you were comfortable, he pulled out of you, and jerked his hips back into your body.
Hongjoong ripped his hand away from your waist and wrapped it around your neck, giving it an experimental squeeze. Seeing the way your eyes rolled into the back of your head, Hongjoong squeezed your neck harder.
"F-fuck Joong you f-feel so good!" You moaned.
Your reaction was an incentive for him to slam harder into you.
His filthy words nearly brought you to your edge.
All you could hear was the filthy sounds of his seat body slapping against yours and his heavy breathing.
"C-can your husband fuck you l-like this? Hm? Can he make you scream like this?"
"Shit, no! You're so much better Hongjoong!"
His hips thrust faster into you, and the speed he was fucking into you brought you to your climax. You arched your back and curled your feet as you called for his name, but Hongjoong didn't stop.
You were squirming under him and your eyes were shut tightly.
He grabbed your hips to keep you steady and kept on thrusting into you.
"T-too much... Can't take it Joong..."
"You can babygirl, cum for me again."
Your writhing and moaning, your precious innocent stance was Hongjoong's kryptonite, and seeing you like that caused him to bury his cock deep in you. When you felt his cum hit your tight walls, a second orgasm hit you, and your legs started shaking as you cried his name.
Hongjoong kissed your cheeks lightly as you both regained your breaths. He slowly pulled out of you and fell on the bed beside your body.
"I'm sorry if it was too much..."
You smiled and cuddled against his chest.
   "I loved it."
Hongjoong smiled back, sleepily, and both of your eyelids felt heavy. Your breathings matched when you started to fall asleep, and Hongjoong drifted off wishing that he'd wake up beside you.
But he never quite did wake up.
Because the word got around, because your husband wasnât stupid, because Hongjoong never bothers to lock his door.

Between Hate and Lust
Ashton Irwin x Plus Size Reader
Authorâs Note: I plan to make this multiple parts if anyone is interested in reading more. I tried something new and included Ashtonâs POV in this one so feedback is much appreciated. Itâs not the best and its a little short but part two will be longer, if you even want part two. I also want to thank @petuniaisawildflowerâ for letting me talk ideas and give me feedback. Iâm not writing this series to exclude any body type, shape, or size because everyoneâs bodies should be accepted and celebrated. So I am very sorry if this in any way excludes anyone, that is not my intention. If thereâs anything youâd like to read please leave a request in my asks and I will try my best to do it justice. If you have any feedback or ideas for part three please let me know.  Â
Summary:Â Y/N hates Ashton from school. Now theyâre adults, maid of honor and best man at the same wedding, and forced to be civil.
Warnings:Â Swearing, mentions of bullying, and mentions of sexual tension
Always a bridesmaid never a bride is exactly how you would describe your life right now. For whatever reason it seemed like everyone you knew was getting married. Normally you wouldnât mind, you actually kind of loved weddings but right now you couldnât help but feel cynical. You just caught your boyfriend cheating on you.
Your best friend was getting married and asked you to be her maid of honor. Obviously you were happy for her and you wanted to be a part of her special day, you just wish it wasnât opposite of him. Ashton Irwin, the best man at the wedding and your sworn enemy since school. He was loud, outgoing and hung out with the douchiest boys at your school. Boys who were responsible for ruining many kids school experience, including your own. The group of boys mainly made fun of your appearance, specifically your weight and even though Ashton never contributed to the name calling he didnât stop it either. You can remember on multiple occasions standing there being tormented by their words, fighting back the tears and youâd look over at Ashton, desperate for him to intervene and heâd instantly look away and stare at the ground.
You thought you had gotten rid of him once his shitty band started to take off but somehow he managed to stay close friends with groom and now you were forced to not only be civil with him for the day but walk down the aisle along side him.
Itâs been about 8 years since you saw him last, in person that is. Youâd never admit it out loud but every now and then your curiosity got the better of you and you checked in on him online. It was easy to do since he somehow managed to become famous. As much as he annoyed you it annoyed you even more that you found him attractive. It was obvious from the photos on google that he was starting to fill out, really finding himself and style. His arms were muscular and decorated with ink and his torso was broad and toned and shit was he talented.
When you first found out Ashton was going to be the best man you were annoyed yes but at least you had your boyfriend to fall back on but now you had no one to escape to if things got bad. Not only do you have to be a kick ass maid of honor but you also have to avoid your asshole ex and deal with your arch enemy.
Tonight was the rehearsal dinner and the first time you would be seeing Ashton. Youâd be lying if you said you didnât spend extra time on your hair and makeup and spend weeks picking out the perfect dress. You didnât want to look good for him, you wanted to look good for yourself and to show him that you were hot and confident despite everything that was said to you at school.
You decided on a pastel pink midi dress with cold shoulder straps paired with some wedges. You pulled up to the restaurant early. You made sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there and help out anyway you could. Your stomach was in knots as you made your way inside, you hated that he could still get a reaction from you after all these years.
You walked up towards the stunning bride and greeted her with a big hug.
âYou look gorgeous!â You gushed.
âLooked whoâs talking,â she replied. âThis is supposed to be my night.â The two of you banter back and forth for awhile until other guests start trickling in.
âI should go greet everyone. Please try to be civil with Ash tonight,â she pleaded. You made a disgusted face and sighed.
Your next stop was at the bar, there was no way you were getting through this without a little liquid courage. With a drink in hand you started to walk around the room greeting the brideâs family you recognized. You were caught up in your conversation with the flower girl and two drinks deep when you saw him.
Ashtonâs POV
It felt strange being home after so long, going to a wedding where there are bound to be people from school. Like almost everyone else in the world you did things as a teenager you werenât proud of but there was one thing you were particularly ashamed of and you would be forced to address it most likely tonight. Your friends in high school were complete assholes, with the exception of the groom obviously but he went to a different school. They bullied a lot of different kids and although sometimes you did put them in their place you never did it for her. Y/N. They picked on her more than most and one time you said something to them after she had ran off and they made fun of you for weeks saying how you had a crush on her and how you were a âchubby chaser.â It shouldnât have bothered you as much as it did but you were young and stupid and you did actually have a crush on her. She was kind, funny, smart and pretty. Now youâre here however many years later about to be best man beside a maid of honor who probably hates you.
As soon as you walked into the room you started to scan the crowd for her, embarrassingly you checked the brides Instagram every now and then to see if she posted pictures with Y/N so you knew how sheâs grown into her beauty. While you were searching the bride and groom greeted you.
âAsh, Thanks so much for coming and being a part of our big day!â The bride greeted as she hugged you.
âCourse! Thanks for having me,â you hugged her and your best friend.
âGrab a drink, mate and find your seat weâre going to get started in a bit. Youâre at the big table with us.â You nod and find your way to the bar to order a whisky. While youâre waiting for your drink, you finally see her. Shit, she looks beautiful. Sheâs practically glowing as she stands there talking to two young kids. Her smile lights up the room and her body in that dress was enough to make your trousers tight. You were definitely staring when the two of you locked eyes. It was now or never you thought to yourself as you slowly started to walk towards her. What were you going to say? Should you introduce yourself? Or assume she remembers you? What if she thinks your a dick for assuming? You donât want her to think youâre a conceited prick. Shit, she was even prettier the closer you got and her smell was intoxicating.
Y/Nâs POV
Fuck heâs walking over and my god was he sexy. His black hair was slicked back and he was wearing fitted black trousers, a polka button up, and a black blazer. You tried to push all the nasty thoughts out of your brain, reminding yourself that you hated him. Your breath hitches in your throat as got closer.
âHi Iâm Ashton the best man,â he introduced himself as if he didnât remember you at all. What a prick.
âSeriously?â You scoffed. âWe went to the same school but I shouldnât be surprised considering youâre a big rockstar now.â And with that you walked away. Of course he didnât remember you, it was stupid of you to think he would.
But Ashton didnât let it go. He swiftly made his way in front of you.
âWoah, I know we went to school together, was just tryna be polite hun,â his hand reached out to touch your arm and your blood started to boil. You instinctively pulled away.
âOh so now you care about being polite?â You snapped. âAnd donât call me hun, I have a name. Letâs do everyone a favor and speak as little as humanly possible.â
Ashtonâs smile dropped and his face got red. He opened his mouth to respond but was cut off when they clanked glasses and asked everyone to take their seats. Although you were forced to sit at the same table, you were thankful it wasnât right next to each other. You did your best to ignore him the rest of the night but you could feel his eyes on you every so often. It made you self conscious and aroused all at the same time.
Ashtonâs POV
What the hell? That didnât go how you planned at all. She wouldnât even give you a chance to explain yourself, she instantly shot down your throat. It was kind of rude but you probably deserved it but you also deserved a chance to apologize donât you?
You wished that the two of you were seated next to each other so you would have another chance to apologize. Unfortunately you were sat across the table from her. You didnât mean to stare but the way her lips wrapped around the fork and her tongue traced her lips was truly mesmerizing. You mind raced with thoughts of that pretty mouth all over you specifically around your cock.
She stood up and excused herself from the table. You waited a few few minutes before you did the same, you needed another chance to apologize. It was obvious that your dirty thoughts had zero percent chance of coming true but you were hoping there was a way sheâd listen to you.
Y/Nâs POV
You excused yourself from the table and practically sprinted to the bathroom, you needed to get away from him. You couldnât take those eyes on you any longer, you were minutes away from jumping across the table to either punch him in the face or jump his bones.
You caught your breath and touched up your makeup before you swung open the bathroom door revealing Ashton leaning against the wall.
He started to walk towards you, âlook y/n Iâm sorry about everything.â He rubbed the back of his neck. âI swear I did say something to those twats once but they just started teasing me saying all this shit...â
You cut him off with a sarcastic laugh. âThat must have been so hard for you, being tease that one time.â Your anger started to take control as you stepped closer to him.
âLook Iâm trying to apologize but your not letting me. Iâm not saying you have to accept it but you could at least be fucking civil and let me finish.â He scolded.
âYou think now that youâre a big rockstar you deserve to be forgiven?â The space between you two was practically nonexistent. It took a lot for you to not attack those stupid lips of his.
âQuit fucking sayinâ that will ya? Iâm gonna say what I have to say and youâre gonna stop bitching for two seconds and listen.â Ashton hissed. âUnless you need some help keeping that pretty mouth shut.â
That was it, you were practically putty standing in front of him. You wanted to be mad at him, to hate him but you were so turned on. You tried to remain your composure to form together a witty retort but as soon as your mouth opened Ashtonâs index finger was pressed against your ample lips.
âI was young and stupid but itâs no excuse for not standing up for you. I knew it was wrong and Iâve thought about for years. Iâm truly sorry for everything they said to you and I wish there was a way to make it right.â He removed his finger and stood back but still kept eye contact.Â
You could feel the tears pooling in your eyes, you had waited years to hear that. Your head was overflowing with so many different emotions you didnât know what to do first. Just as you were about to say something to Ashton the two of you were interrupted by someone walking past to use the bathroom. And this time Ashton was the one walking away, leaving you standing alone in dim lit hallway with a whole lot of thoughts and feelings.

synastry chart reading for @fvckhxbits
hello! welcome to your reading. I'm going to give you a quick overview of what I'm going to analyze about your synastry chart: in-depth analysis of house overlays with major aspects, potential of the relationship, soulmates indicators, possible marriage indicators, possible issues and struggles of the relationship, intimacy and physical attraction, what they feel when they see / think about you, in-depth analysis of fate, love and marriage asteroids. of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask! my dms are always open. now let's get into the reading!
PARTNER A: she / her | libra sun, virgo moon, gemini rising.
PARTNER B: he / him | gemini sun, scorpio moon, scorpio rising.
PARTNER A
- personal planets -
đ partner a's libra sun in his 11th house
this could be the type of relationship that started off as a friendship, or at least that feels like a friendship. you and your partner don't focus on doing cheesy, romantic couple stuff, but you also enjoy having fun together like two friends. you may attend parties and events together, you may go out with your friends and get along with each other's friends pretty well. you may socialize more as a couple, perhaps even more than you two usually do. this placement can also indicate that you two met thanks to your friends for example, or maybe online, or even at some sort of social gathering like a party, a concert, etc. basically, a place crowded with people. the 11th house is also about long-term goals, and hence your partner may see you as a dream, as something he wants to last. you two may have a long-term, stable relationship, you both want this relationship to work and to last as much as possible. in addition, this placement may also motivate both of you to achieve the best in life, you may drive each other to be successful and achieve your goals, or perhaps one of them may even be of help to the other to get a reputation, a job, etc.
partner a's libra sun trine partner b's gemini sun: you and your partner just get along with ease. you have the same ideals, the same approach to the world, you see eye to eye on pretty much everything, and even if sometimes you disagree with the other, you still understand their point of view, there's this mutual understanding of each other that makes the relationship flow very smoothly. you're probably not afriad of being judged by the other, as you are so similiar that the atmosphere gets naturally light when you're together. there's no stress, just appreciation and pleasure. you two have same ideas, a similiar mentality and maturity, but you can still bring something new to the other without making it too overwhelming, and that's why this relationship feels so beneficial and light-hearted. for example, your libra sun can bring romance and cooperation to your partner's life. especially since he's a scorpio dominant individual, he may tend to rely on himself most of the time. you're here to help him, to let him understand that you're not alone. your partner, on the other hand, could help you come off as less conceited; that is, you may often want to be right, especially during arguments. your partner brings you the mental stimulation to discuss not for the sake of being right, but to gain knowledge.
đ partner a's virgo moon in his 9th house
you see your partner as someone mature, wise, brilliant... basically a role model. they have a lot of influence on you, theyâre a sort of inspiration. you may share the same ideas and views of the world, maybe politcally or even about music genre for example. overall, this placement indicates that you perceive your partner as someone powerful and distant from you, someone elevated and far away from you that you can't seem to reach. perhaps, it could also be that you two are physicaly separated, he may live abroad or still somewhere far from where you live, making it hard for you to meet each other. you admire him deeply, and thr flip side to this is that your partner may become too dependant of your compliments, of your opinion of him, and hence a break-up would be fatal for his self-esteem. the 9th house represents sagittarius, which is all about exploring and knowledge, you know? therefore, you may want to get to know this person in-depth, youâre curious about their habits, their talents, their secrets... you want an authentic, reliable vision of him. you never get tired of talking or even just thinking about this person, learning about his persona amuses you. last but not least, this person makes you crave a stable relationship with him; you may see as someone perfectly wise and mature for a long-lasting relationship, you see him as the âend of the raceâ, someone perfect to commit to.
partner a's virgo moon square partner b's gemini mars: this placement may cause some troubles, as you may often be blind to your partnerâs attitude. especially since the moon is placed in his 9th house, you may idealize your partner way too much when heâs not actually who he seems to be. at first you may be okay with his behaviour, as a gemini mars and dominant he tends to be way more impulsive than your logical virgo moon. yet, as time goes by, you may start feeling constantly contradicted, arguments could be more frequent as you may misunderstand each other. more specifically, you start realizing that your partnerâs nature is too different from yours, and while there are many other aspects that could mitigate this effect, you may still feel as if itâs impossible for you to have a long-lasting, healthy relationship in these occasions. especially your partner, he may often hurt your feelings with his words. on the other hand, this placement also has a positive side! you are strongly attracted to each other, you both feel attached to the other with glue, and thatâs exactly why this relationship could become unhealthy, because you may struggle to let go of the other if necessary.your bond is so strong that you canât manage to separate, even when there are so many hardships and conflicts.Â
đŁ partner a's scorpio mercury in his 12th house
this placement makes you extremely empathetic in regards of your partner. you probably can tell whatâs going on in his mind pretty well, you may complete his phrases, you may basically read his mind. you know when heâs happy, when heâs sad, when heâs angry, when heâs lying... heâs an open book to you, he canât hide. perhaps, you may even make dreams about him and viceversa. you could often find yourself daydreaming about this person as well. on the other hand, there are a few problems caused by this placement as well, weâre still talking about the 12th house after all. first of all, your partner is a scorpio dominant: heâs lonely, secretive, private... he doesnât like showing his real nature to others, he feels uncomfortable revealing all of his secrets, his mind. having someone that understands him so deeply, while it can impress him in some way, you may catch his attention, but at the same time he may as well be annoyed by it. he may start feeling overwhelmed from this lack of privacy, he may want to run away as this relationship could start being unhealthy, especially for him. or perhaps, he may actually be looking for a relationship of this kind, an intense, transformative relationship, therefore he may actually appreciate it, but it depends on what he wants from a partner. his cancer venus makes me think that he would feel at ease with such a strong connection, but again, heâs a scorpio dominant, so he may still be secretive and uncomfortable, maybe it depends on his mood. last but not least, this placement can also make the two of you quite paranoid; your partner may often feel as if youâre hiding something from him, and that could interfer in your bond of course.Â
partner a's scorpio mercury conjunct partner b's scorpio moon: I find this placement so lovely! you two get along pretty well, you feel comfortable sharing your feelings with the other. you may be a very sweet couple, you may call each other sweet names like 'honey', 'baby' and so on. also, you have no problems communicating with the other, especially considering that this conjunction also happens in your 5th house, the house of romance. you have very long, confidential talks, it's pleasant for you two to vent all of your worries. there is a mutual understanding that makes it very easy for you two to stay committed in a relationship, as it's an healthy environment for your mental health. you could be each other's therapist, you always try to understand what the other's thinking. the only problem that could arise with this placement is that you may tend to analyze too much your partner's emotions. for example, let's suppose your partner has had a bad day and he wants to talk about it to you. he just wants to vent and be heard, but you may mistake this for wanting to be helped. you could give him some advices, when he actually didn't ask for anything. basically, remember that you don't always have to solve his problems, just listen to him.
â€ïž partner a's sagittarius venus in his 1st house
this placement indicates that you most likely find your partner extremely attractive! he probably fits your beauty standards, you find him very charismatic and charming, it's hard for you not to stare at him. basically, he's your type. also, aside from being into his looks, you may also be fascinated from the way he presents himself in general: you may like his fashion sense, his manners, the way he approaches people, the way he speaks... bascially, everything about the outer him, it was likely love at first sight, or at least you instantly felt strong attraction to this individual when you first met him. also, this placement also indicates that you may inspire your partner in an artistic way, and viceversa. for example, let's suppose you like writing; you may feel inspired by your partner to write books about him, or perhaps poetry or song lyrics. you see your partner as someone aesthetically pleasant, basically as a piece of art. your partner also has this placement, his cancer venus is in your first house, therefore this feeling is mutual. overall, you both feel flattered and loved by the other, you may often compliment each other and that will be a complete self-esteem boost for both of you. feeling loved by your partner and viceversa inspires you to love yourself, and as a result you feel more beautiful.
partner a's sagittarius venus opposite partner b's gemini mars: I wouldn't say this is an extremely negative placement. oppositions are still easier to deal with than squares in my opinion, but still there could be some major problems regarding conflicts. you and your partner may not see eye to eye regarding love and sex, you may struggle to meet each other's wants. for example, you may desire more romanticism from your partner, and your partner may want more physical attraction from you. you may tend to act submissive around your partner, he could make you feel like a teenage, while your partner adopts a more bossy, stereotypically 'manly' behaviour. while this may be attractive and 'safe' for both of you, it could actually become a boring relationship that doesn't bring anything new to both of you. you are very different, you most likely have differents needs and wants that you expect from a relationship, making it difficult to work of course. but again, you're not doomed: your venus is sextile your partner's saturn. that means that, with time and growth, your partner will eventually start to understand you and your point of view. basically, at first it may be hard to feel healthy while being in a relationship of this kind, but as time goes by, you'll both learn some major life lessons that will improve your love life. even if this relationship doesn't last, you'll still get out of it with loads of maturity and experiences.
partner a's sagittarius venus sextile partner b's libra saturn: as Iâve mentioned above, this placement is particularly positive in this chart. the saturn person, your partner, with time will make you more mature and responsible. he will teach you how to stand up for yourself, without depending on someone else. he will allow you to be more of an adult as well, he could literally act like a father figure with you at a certain point. the saturn person, on the other hand, will learn from you, the venus person, how to be more laid-back. he may be someone very busy and constantly stressed that canât dedicate much time to himself. you will soften him, youâll show him that itâs safe to let feelings take over sometimes, that itâs fine to show love and affection to others. he wonât be seen as weak, but simply as human. itâs an important life lesson that he needs to learn since he has a lot of grumpy scorpio energy which restricts him from truly enjoying life and relationships, as he tends to be more introspective. the only problem that comes with this relationship is that you may eventually start feeling limited in this relationship; your sagittarius venus wants to be free, you want your relationships to be all about fun without any worries, and with a partner that acts like your dad you may start feeling oppressed in the long run. especially since your partner may even have quite of a cold, detached approach with you, that will hardly make it seem like a romantic, fairytale-like relationship if thatâs what youâre looking for. same goes for your partner: while he may see you as someone bright and cheerful that lights up his day, he may start seeing you as too immature for him.
âïž partner a's virgo mars in his 10th house
this placement isnât exactly romantic, I would say itâs more suitable for a working relationship, but there are still some notes that could resonate. in first place, you may inspire your partner to be successful, you may be his strenght to pursue a certain career or even just to lead in general. your support boosts his self-esteem, allowing him to succeed and achieve his goals. in addition, you may actually work in the same field, or perhaps you aspire to follow his steps and work in the same environment as him. you may also literally help each other with your job, for example if he works in an office you may help him getting some documents done, if heâs a teacher you may help him with his students, etc. one thing for sure, you would support him in anything he does, you would become his numer #1 fan. the house person, aka your partner, also sees potential in you, and he may help you being more successful in your finances and career as well. he probably appreciates your skills and talents, as well as your strategies. the problem with this overlay is that, at first, this relationship could be quite boring or even cold at first. thereâs a lot of seriousness and respect from both of you, which could make this relationship too heavy, especially for your free-spirited sagittarius venus. this placement could also be interpreted in a more family-related way: you may inspire him to become a father, he may be very present for his children, and he would do anything to provide wealth and security for his family.Â
partner a's virgo mars square partner b's gemini mars: this placement is quite tricky, especially when it comes to the sexual side of the relationship. more specifically, you tend to have quite different needs from the other which interfer in the way you enjoy your moments together. for instance, during sexual encounters, you probably donât have the best of your time as you have different views of sex. you see it as something very intimate, your virgo mars makes you very picky, and you probably enjoy being prepared, you donât like improvising. your partner is literally the opposite: he prefers exploring and constantly trying out new things without warning. heâs a mutable dominant individual, he doesnât like settling down to one thing, and that could make you feel overwhelmed. you like being in control, and in this relationship you would definitely struggle to be in charge. basically, you may both be disappointed from the otherâs sexual performance, and especially for your partner, sex is important. if it isnât enjoyable, he could easily detach and drift away. he also seems very stubborn, he probably wonât try to sacrifice his desires to satisfy your needs, therefore if youâre not willing to adapt to his wants, I would say that this relationship wouldnât be healthy if it lasted much. in addition, aside from issues regarding your intimate life, you may even fight on a daily basis, especially since you also have 12th house synastry that brings misunderstandings. I have this aspect myself with tons of people I know, and I can say that I constantly feel annoyed by them. I just donât vibe with them, we constantly argue and disagree on so many things. even if you have other soft aspect that may make this more bearable, itâs still something that shouldnât be underestimated, especially if youâre aspiring to have a long-term relationship with this person.
PARTNER B
đ partner b's gemini sun in her 12th house
this one is kind of a tricky placement. while this placement indicates that your partner feels strongly attracted to you, he may also feel rejected and / or confused about this relationship with you (or even viceversa, you may be the one to feel rejected). when he first saw you, he probably couldn't get his eyes off of you, you were constantly in his mind, you attracted him like a magnet. it's a very intense relationship, but that he probably can handle since he himself has some 12th house placements and heavy scorpio dominance in his chart. it's actually quite beneficial to have such a placement for him and for the sake of the relationship, or he may possibly get bored of it, especially since he's a gemini sun. you may see your partner as someone very charming and alluring, even mysterious, and that's probably why you fell for him in the first place. in addition, your relationship may also be enigmatic; you may hide your relationship, or perhaps one of you tries to hide the other from their friends, family, etc. or at least there's this fear of being open about this connection. you're probably the more private type of couple, you may like to socialize but only in safe environments with people you trust. aside from that, I don't see any other hardship coming from this aspects, since your sun and your partner's form a beautiful trine. hence, you get the best of the 12th house: this may be a very dreamy and romantic relationship, or perhaps you actually dream of each other. you could also help each other in some way, you're always there for the other and you're also very loyal. now, I donât know if this relationship is canon or not, as astrology canât determine that, but this placement can also indicate platonic / one-sided love. you may tend to idealize your partner a lot, and you may never have the opportunity to confess your feelings to this person. but again, this will only apply if this person doesnât know about you, and of course it doesnât mean that the relationship is impossible.
partner b's gemini sun conjunct partner a's gemini ascendant: finally, a pleasant aspect! your partner probably thought that you were very attractive when he first saw you. you may meet his ideals of beauty, he sees you as his type of girlfriend. he likes the way you move, the way you speak and present yourself, or even just the way you look physically, he may like your face and body. he may even be more straight-forward and approach you first, he may often spoil you with compliments and you donât step back from them. you appreciate the way he looks, or even stare at you. actually, you may even crave his attention. your partner, aside from admiring you deeply, may even take you as a role model, he may desire to be like you, especially in your way of approaching the world. perhaps, since heâs a scorpio rising, he may wish to come off as more easy-going and open, just like you do thanks to your gemini ascendant. same thing goes for you: you also appreciate the way your partner lives his life, his achievements, his goals, his ideals, and so on. luckily, there arenât other negative placements that interfer with this mostly-posiitve aspect. in fact, this aspect could possibly bring a feeling of competition between you two, as instead of admiring and appreciating the other, you may start hating yourselves because you think the other is better.
đ partner bâs scorpio moon in her 5th house
this placement is extremely lovely! probably one of the best to have in a romantic relationship. your partner may feel fascinated by your hobbies, your skills and talents; you may be particularly creative and / or intelligent, and this is really attractive to him. he sees you as someone very lovely, someone ideal to start a relationship. you two feel comfortable together, you can both have fun like two children playing around; you may often tease each other for example, but you never misunderstand or get hurt by the other, thereâs this mutual love and empathy for the other that makes it extremely rare for you two to be in conflict. sex is also pretty romantic and, above all, respectful. your partner may always try to be gentle with you, as he doesnât want to hurt you in any way, thanks to this placement he may be way more considerate than his scorpio moon when heâs with you. what Iâm going to say now is a bit more specific, but since the 5th house is also about creativity and arts, you may literally become a muse for your parter. for example, if heâs a singer, he may write songs about you; if heâs a writer, he could write poetry or romance thinking about you, and so on. you inspire him to relax and have fun, without thinking about job and worries, just pleasure. itâs indeed a very peaceful and amusing relationship. in addition, the 5th house rules leo, the ego, the self-esteem. being with this person, especially when he spoils you with compliments and appreciation, is extremely helpful for you to feel more loved and secure of yourself, especially in your appearance. therefore, this relationship has the potential to be healthy for both of you, as long as you donât become too obsessed about each otherâs opinion of the other.
đŁ partner b's cancer mercury in her 1st house
with this placement, you probably also fell for your partner for the way he talks, he exposes his thoughts, his choice of words. you may even be literally into his voice, you like the way it sounds, you thought it was attractive when you first heard it. you may even see your partner as someone smart and intellectual who has a way with words, someone that can achieve whatever he wants thanks to his witty intellect. you may also enjoy his sense of humor, you probably donât force your laugh when youâre around him because you find him genuinely entertaining. as for your partner, he may also be into the way you think and talk, he could be fascinated by your ideas and creativity. in addition, mercury is all about curiosity, and hence he may be curious to get to know you. when you first met him, he felt this sudden urge to get to know you, he couldâve been the first one to randomly approach you, and he started making random questions just to hav ĂŹe a conversation with you. even more simple things like âWhat is your favourite food?â looks fine to him, as long as he learns something new about you, he cares about this kind of stuff. this placement can surely make good friendships, as you two are able to have an amusing conversation, even though it may be more casual rather than deep. you probablty wouldnât talk about the meaning of life with him, to make it simple, but rather about your hobbies, your passions.
âïž partner b's gemini mars in her 12th house
this is another tricky house overlay. you probably feel extremely attracted to this person, but you canât figure out the reason. itâs like youâre under a spell, you donât know when it started and when itâs going to end, if itâs ever going to end. in fact, this placement will make it particularly hard for you to let go and forget about this person, you may constantly hold on any little clue that may indicate that this relationship can work and be long-lasting, even if it starts stressing out both of you. the thing is, since you canât exactly understand why you feel so attracted to this person, you find it hard to find a reason to end it. of course you canât rush something like this, you prefer understanding your feelings in-depth rather than base yourself on your suppositions, but in this way youâll just get stuck into this cycle. aside from that, mars is also about physical attraction, therefore with this placement, your partner may not feel physically attracted with you, and if he does, there could be some issues regarding sex and intimacy in general. he may feel as if you donât appreciate him and viceversa, and this could obviously lead to many conflicts, not only between the two of you, but in general in yourselves. you may start feeling like a failure, as if youâre not worthy of love at all, when itâs absolutely not the way you should interpret this. it simply means that you two canât see eye to eye, and therefore you canât match each otherâs energy.
ASTEROIDS & CO
â€ïž partner b's libra juno conjunct partner a's libra sun
this is the only relevant aspect I could find regarding love asteroids and points of destiny. at least, itâs very positive! in fact, juno is the asteroid of marriage. with his juno being conjunct your sun, your partner sees you as his ideal partner, his ideal spouse, someone he wants to commit to and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with. heâs probably into a feminine, romantic and elegant partner that would do anything for him, and you totally fit that description, you embody his ideal personality. therefore, this placement makes it extremely easy to get along at first and feel attracted to each other. you may as well feel as if you want to marry this person,as if you he was meant to be your husband. it could pretty much feel like a soulmate connection, especially with that magical 12th house synastry that you two share.
CONCLUSION
pretty much, I wouldnât say this relationship is extremely romantic. if you asked me, I would say that it looks more like a friendship, or perhaps like a platonic relationship based on these placements. the thing is, you have this 12th house synastry that makes you fantasize and dream about this connection and about your partner in general. the problem is that you may often ignore red flags, as youâre very confused about this relationship in first place. if youâre not together yet, you may even doubt that your partner feels attracted to you. to be completly honest, I barely see this as a love relationship, or at least not in this lifetime. you donât have many karmic indicators of you two being meant to meet and marry, but your 12th house synastry does indicate some sort of soulmate connection. since I was quite unsure, I decided to pull out a tarot card to sort out my doubts. I got the chariot, which is all about experiences, itâs a journey. therefore, my take on this is that you two may have some karmic bond, but your souls may need to wait for a few lifetimes before finally meeting in human form. I have this strong feeling that you probably havenât met this person yet, but if you actually did and youâre in this relationship, then Iâd suggest you to trust your intuition. possibly, spiritual outlets could also help you understanding if this relationship is worthy for you and for your mental health, like astrology, tarots, meditation, etc. after all, astrology indicates the potential, but the fate of the relationship is still in your hands, youâre free.
and this is the end! thank you again for booking a reading :) let me know if you have any questions xx

Ruby & Cosmo
Ruby: Dying to know is every date colour coded? â€ïž
Cosmo: Oh, God đ
How unintentionally cringe
Cosmo: That sums up how well it went, sadly
Ruby: the quick reply had me thinking you were back early or answering in the middle of dinner
Cosmo: đ€«
Cosmo: Iâd never!
Cosmo: It was a favour and I think that showed
Cosmo: Sheâs my cousinâs friend and just got dumped, sweet girl but perhaps not ready to be great company
Ruby: explains the đč
Cosmo: Not very personal or too basic?
Ruby: a nice try if it was your first date ever but I know itâs not
Cosmo: Thank God I didnât get another bouquet đ
Cosmo: They werenât buy one get one free though, before you say
Ruby: they looked expensive
Ruby: she wouldâve felt guilty throwing them back in your face
Cosmo: I told you I werenât texting under the table, why would she need to?
Ruby: you told me why, theyâre impersonal & basic
Ruby: & heartbreak makes you unhinged
Cosmo: I wouldnât call her unhinged
Cosmo: at least not to her face, right
Ruby: đ
Ruby: or your cousinâs
Ruby: Are you staying out in town or going home to change?
Cosmo: I donât fancy showing up in the club in this
Cosmo: never mind hearing what my friends would have to say
Cosmo: What are you up to?
Ruby: the VIP area has seen worse, you donât look like you raided the Gucci sale rail, eyes closed
Ruby: & your friends have worn worse, but I wonât say it to their faces
Ruby: Iâm waiting for my own friends to be done making their own questionable outfit choices as usual
Cosmo: Careful, that was almost a compliment and not just a drag of the lads
Cosmo: not undeserved on their end but what did I do to make you decide to be nice to me?
Cosmo: besides entertain you with my dating woes whilst they redo their makeup, again
Ruby: You know how to dress, itâs a fact
Ruby: & I didnât decide to be nice, it just happened
Cosmo: Not that youâre not usually nice in general
Cosmo: but here I am, feeling special, like đđ€©
Cosmo: Itâs also a fact, though not an impressive one, that Iâm not lame enough to go in for that negging bullshit, so whatever I end up doing, calling you a bitch ainât on the agenda
Ruby: there you were down in the dumps about your disaster date, I thought Iâd try to help
Ruby: I wouldnât, it only works for Mason when everyoneâs too busy watching his feet move to care about his mouth & thatâs not the audience youâve got atm
Cosmo: I think Iâll survive
Cosmo: but I appreciate it
Cosmo: Iâve seen him get in trouble for his mouth plenty of times on the pitch
Cosmo: but referees arenât ones to be sweet-talked soâŠ
Ruby: your expensive roses are wasted on them đ„
Cosmo: That is the real tragedy đ
Cosmo: I reckon đ· could work on your dad though, whaddya think?
Ruby: arenât we beyond bribes? I thought we were
Cosmo: You donât have to go up for contract renewals
Cosmo: but I was joking, so donât tell him heâs on a promise there
Ruby: oh yeah, itâs a joke you being worried you wonât get renewed
Ruby: he doesnât shut up about you after a few đ·âs with your dad
Cosmo: Sorry youâve had to witness/hear that
Cosmo: canât help my case
Ruby: it wouldnât be realistic to entertain you or let you entertain me if he wasnât on board
Cosmo: No?
Ruby: secrecy & sneaking around would be impossible unless we could both drop what we were doing at a momentâs notice, which we canât
Cosmo: True
Cosmo: Neither of us has the time for that
Ruby: or the anonymity
Cosmo: You arenât wrong
Ruby: đđ€© back at me?
Ruby: youâre being agreeable, above & beyond the Sunday roast standard you set when everyone was listening in
Cosmo: Agreeable from you I can take
Cosmo: I didnât know any of you guys were going to be there, so if I wasnât on top form
Cosmo: Iâd love to have a second chance to do it better, of course
Cosmo: Somewhere more exciting than family dinner
Cosmo: and no impersonal and basic đčs
Ruby: Iâd love to skip the club tonight, it stopped being exciting forever ago
Ruby: thereâs your chance
Cosmo: Alright
Cosmo: Iâll make something happen and Iâll send you the place and the dress code
Ruby: pastel colours wash me out
Cosmo: What kind of place would be pastels only? đ€
Ruby: [name drop somewhere boujee that youâve been probably with your mum and godmother lol]
Ruby: you wasted the â€ïž on the wrong girl đ
Cosmo: She wasnât wearing red
Ruby: it was never going to work out
Cosmo: That might be for the best
Ruby: tbd
Ruby: but Iâm not feeling like Iâll cry or talk about any of my exes so itâll be better for you
Cosmo: And for you
Cosmo: not that youâre letting me be impressive with a bar that low but you know
Ruby: youâll get over or under it if you want to
Cosmo: If I couldnât rise to the occasion your dad definitely wouldnât stand for it
Ruby: I wonât either
Cosmo: tbd
Cosmo: I heard
Ruby: another girl has beat me to denying you everything, I have no choice but to switch it up to keep things interesting
Cosmo: Has hard-to-get worked since the days of negging?
Cosmo: Youâve got all the choices, and no need to play any sort of game with me
Cosmo: Letâs have a good time
Ruby: it might have worked for people who want a different reputation than I do
Ruby: thatâd wash me out too, the whole projection of intense cold bitch energy
Ruby: a good time is more doable
Cosmo: It wouldnât get you very far, I understand
Cosmo: We all have to be some type of way to get to where we need to be
Ruby: yeah & talent has to be backed up with đâš
Cosmo: A winning personality, of course
Ruby: if I donât have that both of my parents & coach are going to lose it, definitely
Cosmo: Well, you donât need to worry about that, from my perspective
Ruby: from my POV neither of us will be worrying until the alarm wakes us early tomorrow & itâll be too late to stress it by then
Ruby: the good timeâll have already happened
Cosmo: Iâll drink to that
Cosmo: [something thatâs between the restaurant moment we just took Savannah to and the normal clubs they would go to, idk what that would look like, like a club thatâs a bit sassier than the beyond standard ones footballers and WAGs would hang in]
Cosmo: but I wonât start without you, like
Ruby: not counting the đ· if the đ soaked it up
Ruby: but what do you want me to wear? đ§Ąđđđđđ€đ€đ€
Cosmo: â€ïž off the table then
Ruby: the bar hasnât fallen through the floor, Iâm not okaying you wearing the outfit you chose for her & me dressing to match it
Cosmo: đ
Iâve gone home but alright
Cosmo: I want to see what you come up with, actually
Cosmo: Iâll show you Iâve got better than the jumper, donât worry
Ruby: Iâll do better than a roast with the fam, talk about a low bar
Cosmo: I think youâre probably incapable of looking bad
Ruby: try keeping me up all night & youâll see
Cosmo: I wonât be the first or the last to show up to practice feeling less than đŻ ⊠are all the other ice skaters perfect đs?
Ruby: Iâm not giving any details of who isnât, youâre a date down tonight as is, Iâm not getting ditched for someone even more đ
Cosmo: About how that looks
Cosmo: âcos I know
Cosmo: We arenât going to post anything are we?
Cosmo: Iâm not looking to add to the poor girlâs đ and I know itâs a dick move to not even wait âtil tomorrow
Ruby: đ”
Ruby: getting into a fight with your cousin over me is even more Romeo & Juliet than sneaking around behind my dadâs back, we all know how it ended
Ruby: drama in the routine is fine but off the ice itâs not cute
Cosmo: Drama on the pitch depends how you feel about diving
Cosmo: but I appreciate that
Ruby: how I feel about diving depends how much my brother has got to me & I want to get him back for it
Cosmo: đ„ or đš depending on the day
Ruby: đ„ usually
Cosmo: I feel that
Cosmo: about my own, usually, not necessarily yours but I can see the how and why there too
Ruby: yours made an impression, not at all good
Cosmo: Thatâs his speciality
Ruby: đŹ brothers bring the mood down when theyâre ours
Cosmo: Neither of themâs invited
Ruby: itâll make a change not to see mine out
Cosmo: Thatâs unlucky
Ruby: but youâre on to a winner with the location, congrats
Cosmo: I had a good feeling
Ruby: Iâve got one too
Cosmo: đđ€©
Ruby: a compliment to last until I get there
Cosmo: tbd đ
Ruby: â€ïž
Cosmo: [so obviously this night is gonna go better than the awkward date, though thatâs not hard soz Savannah, but also a step above the standard club moment of every weekend hence we stay out longer than we usually do when weâve got an early start tomorrow]
Ruby: [and equally as obviously if you found enough to talk about when you were around all your annoying relatives for that roast Iâm not worried about you struggling for a convo tonight, youâre both cute and have things in common and thereâs clearly a vibe]
Cosmo: [I donât think anything needs to happen tonight but itâs obvious you like each other âcos you could both be bothered to show and do this]
Ruby: [agreed it feels legit to who you both are and your priorities to wanna take things a bit slower than that, like itâs clearly unlike her already to do this when you were literally on a date earlier and staying out later than planned is also something neither of you do a lot so]
Cosmo: [yes, weâre not that kind of boy, not saying youâve never slept with anyone obvs lmao but weâre not a different gal every weekend energy at all]
Ruby: [likewise neither calling this gal a nun or a slag but I doubt she's been out with that many people cos of a) her busy schedule and b) the lowkey famous dad and brother thing that would make some lads wanna try it on for that reason]
Cosmo: [exactly dr phil, you wanna skip to the AM of it all?]
Ruby: [absolutely boo]
Cosmo: đ„ or đš for keeping you out past your bedtime then?
Ruby: Are you willing to take credit or am I blaming a messy friendâs man troubles?
Cosmo: That depends
Cosmo: we would have to find a friend weâd mutually not mind throwing under the bus and Iâm not sure if my brain is capable rn
Ruby: it wouldnât be taxing to mine to think up someone believable, if youâre keen to show up to my door with đ & fool my dad that itâs the first move youâve made
Ruby: for repâs sake
Cosmo: The đ is all around
Cosmo: a hangover will have you feeling that way
Cosmo: are YOU keen for me to show up at your door with đs, thatâs the real question here
Ruby: Iâll start getting hangovers when Iâm old, itâs a scare tactic before, not a real thing
Ruby: impressing my dad doesnât necessarily impress me
Cosmo: đ
Cosmo: Thatâs alright, I already have impressed him, so itâs definitely not my intention here
Ruby: letâs hear what your intentions are
Cosmo: Now youâre bragging about how un-hungover you are
Cosmo: How about you let me set up a second date and we can talk about it then?
Ruby: a brag would have a selfie attached, I was reassuring you Iâm not suffering mild alcohol poisoning like most of our friends
Ruby: a second date for when?
Cosmo: Iâm pleased to hear it
Cosmo: it doesnât make for a pretty sight
Cosmo: [pisstakey shot of some of the lads dying in the changing room or wherever like ew lol]
Cosmo: Send me your calendar and Iâll see?
Ruby: đŹ lovely [but send him something similar of the girls obvs and then your calendar of course, Iâm cackling because what if the only time they can both do is tonight so that looks really extra when youâre both not]
Cosmo: Theyâd kill us for that đ
Cosmo: [we so could, lmao okay]
Cosmo: Well, it looks like either we double down and go for tonight or we give it a rain check and see in a couple weeks đ€
Ruby: tonight works for me but itâs you whoâd be doing the work to think of somewhere else with wow factor
Cosmo: Undefeated with two wins sounds a lot better than one
Ruby: yeah & I donât want to talk about weeks on the bench
Cosmo: Be a bit of a dirty tactic to put the blame on you for not going out with me tonight if I get benched but
Cosmo: If it works Iâm not above it
Cosmo: So, what kind of place are you looking to avoid tonight?
Ruby: do we need to avoid anywhere or flash photography? your cousin & the girl they forced you to date canât stay mad forever
Cosmo: No, we donât have to
Ruby: đđ€©
Cosmo: Understood
Cosmo: Iâll get back to you
Ruby: đ«đ·đ„đžđč can be tonightâs rule if you need a break
Cosmo: I donât
Cosmo: I just needed to know what you want to do, and now I do and Iâm thinking
Ruby: I know you donât need it to have or be fun, me either hopefully
Cosmo: I think youâre fun
Cosmo: and itâs definitely tragic if you have to rely on something like that, thatâs not me
Ruby: itâs nobody I know or would count as worth knowing
Cosmo: Totally
Cosmo: Okay, Iâm going on the pitch, send you deets later
Ruby: donât mess up or Iâm going to cancel tonight & I donât want to so thatâll be us both in bad moods đ

Summary: College AU/Famous!Blaine and Fanboy!Kurt - Kurt POV
Kurt really doesnât have time to figure out the dating world between being a freshman at prestigious theatre school, LAADA, Â and his active but secret blogging life in the Sing!Fandom. So what if Sing! ended last year? There are still fics to read and actors to follow. Especially the uber talented heartthrob lead, Blaine Anderson. He can act. He can sing. He can even dance. Heâs gay. Heâs out. And heâs only 24. Kurt is willing to twiddle his thumbs and click refresh until Blaine Andersonâs next project.
He just didnât expect the next project to be on his roommate Rachelâs new TV show.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
Even Better Than the Real Thing (5/15)
Kurt is sitting at his desk, completing his essay on queer subtext in âCatsâ when Rachel rushes in the front door like a hurricane. âPlease help me clean, Kurt. Theyâll be here soon.â
âWho will be here when?â Kurt is immediately irritated.Â
âYou know, the cast, hair and make up, whomever can make it. I really felt that as the star of the show that I should be hosting a get together evening. Iâve got the wine, we can warm up some easy appetizers, cut some veggies. Oh and can you make your guacamole?-â
âWait what? Did you even think to ask me if tonight worked for me? My essay is due tomorrow.â
âI did-â Kurt stares at her. âI didnât ask? I mean I thought I mentioned it last weekend.âÂ
Kurt sighs deeply. âYou didnât.â
âOkay Iâm sorry. But come on, Kurt. I know your essay must be almost done. You never leave anything to the last minute-â
âUnlike some other people, apparently.â Kurt groans and shakes his head but begrudgingly stands up and makes his way to the kitchen. âYou clean. Iâll do the guac and veggies.â Rachel thanks him profusely and he shoos her away so he can get the food done. He will need to shower and change before anyone arrives. And clean his room. Because though he wonât ask Rachel whoâs coming, heâs not going to risk Blaine Anderson thinking his home is a mess.Â
...
By the time Kurt feels ready enough to enter the gathering from the safety of his bedroom, having carefully chosen a definitely flattering but not trying too hard outfit for the occasion - a skintight white long sleeved shirt under a dark grey vest with tight dark blue jeans - there are already a good ten guests in his living room, milling and drinking wine and laughing too loudly. But so far, no Blaine Anderson. He chats for a bit with Sarah and Joan, two of the hair and make up folks, and tries very hard to be interested in whose hair is the hardest to get consistently correct, and not to be distracted by who is not there.
âRachel!â The door swings open about half an hour later and there he is, giving Rachel a big hug, handing her a bottle of red wine, and apologizing for being late. Kurtâs heart beat quickens slightly but he notices that he is not going into full on panic mode. Theyâre friends, buddies, and of course theyâll talk tonight. Yes, itâs Blaine Anderson and yes, heâs really very gorgeous, but itâs a bit more like hot gay friend has entered the premises and less like heâs holding his breath to catch a brief glimpse of Sing!âs most eligible bachelor. He can do this.
âYou almost missed your chance,â Kurt wanders over and hands Blaine a Corona with lime. âItâs the last one but lucky for you, I set it aside.â
Blaine smiles widely, looking genuinely thankful - Kurt thinks more appreciative than a saved beer would warrant. âYou know my drink of choice?â
âGiven that itâs all youâve been drinking each time Iâve seen you - I guess I know your âdrink of choice.â Kurt makes quotation marks with his fingers.
Blaine raises the bottle in a cheers-like gesture. âSo this is your home,â Blaine takes in the apartment, looking at both Kurt and Rachel.Â
âTwo bedrooms, two bathrooms-âÂ
âThat was a requirement,â Kurt adds. âI have a very particular nighttime skin routine and there was no way I was competing with Rachel Berry for the mirror.â Blaine laughs and keeps smiling at him with those sparkly eyes. Itâs unnerving.
âKurt, why donât you give him a mini-tour? I need to refill the Sangria bowl,â Rachel says, flitting off to the next thing.
âWhy donât you, then?â Blaine says. Kurt surveys the room. The apartment is not that big.
âWell, this is the living room slash kitchen slash main room.â I mean, Blaine canât really think there is that much of a tour to take, but heâll humour him. Kurt leads Blaine to Rachelâs unfortunately overly pink room and bathroom. âI couldnât convince her that it was not a bold choice, but a bad choice.â Blaineâs eyebrows rise as he takes in light pink walls with splashes of bubble gum pink accents, and he laughs genuinely at Kurtâs commentary. Neither this tour, nor Kurt, are really that amusing but okay. Blaine Anderson is having fun.Â
âI guess she really is a girly girl at heart,â Blaine says as he follows Kurt into his own room. Much more soothing, and more adult, shades of blues and greys, with some bold orange accent pillows on his bed for flare.Â
âA girly girl can still have taste - and that room, Blaine, is too much pink.âÂ
âI dated a guy last year who had a pink room,â Blaine rolls his eyes at the memory as he sits down on Kurtâs bed. Okay. Guess theyâre staying here for a bit.
âJust really proud?â Kurt pulls out his desk chair and faces Blaine.
âA proud gay guy can still have taste,â Blaine mimics, looking approvingly around Kurtâs room.
âIndeed.â Thereâs a brief pause and Kurtâs heart starts to race again, worried it might get awkward. âWait - didnât you say you couldnât meet anyone while working on Sing!?â
âYeah, but it didnât stop me from trying. Or sort of trying while enjoying,â Blaine pauses. âThe LA scenery.âÂ
Now Kurt laughs, shaking his head to himself. âHonestly, I canât imagine having a life where there are so many options that they are all just part of the pretty scenery. Although I suppose Mr. Pinkâs room didnât qualify.â
âMr. Pink,â Blaine pauses, looking like he is assessing whether he should say whatever is on the tip of his tongue. âHad a body to make up for the room,â Kurtâs eyes widen but he wills himself to play it cool. No big deal. Friends chatting about past relationships. âSo we had a week of torrid sex and the rest is history.â
Kurt bites his lip. This image is too much. Blaine Anderson having torrid sex is too much. He knows heâs red. He just says the first thing that comes into his head, âHonestly, Blaine, Iâm from Lima, Ohio and your life right now, itâs outside my mid-western frame of reference.â
Blaine chuckles again but he nods. Does he think Kurt is just hilariously innocent? âI know. You know, I donât completely forget what itâs like to arrive in LA from small town Ohio. Iâm only 24. Did you ever get out to Columbus for any of the LBGT youth dances or game nights? I used to do that. Even got my first kiss from a drunken college freshman behind the community centre. Very romantic.â
âNope.â Kurt answers quickly. âNever went to Columbus. No dances or games. No kisses.â Heâs embarrassed but what else was he going to say? Blaineâs suspicion of his innocence confirmed.
âNo first kisses?â Blaine repeats and Kurt shakes his head quickly.Â
âWhy is that so hard to believe? I thought we already discussed that Lima is not exactly a gay mecca.â
âNo, itâs not. Itâs not. Lima would not exactly be the best place to meet someone.â Blaine agrees, shaking his head and looking down slightly before looking right back into Kurtâs eyes. âItâs just that,â Blaine breathes in, âYouâre hot.â
What. The fuck.Â
Great. Now the silence is going to be super painful because Kurt is certain no coherent words will come out of his mouth ever again.Â
âAnyways,â Blaine bites his lower lip, shaking off his momentary slip of the tongue. âThank you for the tour.â Kurt gets up to lead them back out to the others. âYouâre one up on Mr. Pink.â
âFor my decor? I hope so.â Kurt manages to speak words.
âIn all areas,â Blaine says quietly from behind him and before Kurt can register the second less than subtle compliment in five minutes, and turn around, Blaine is back in the crowd, chatting with Joan and Sarah as if nothing could be more interesting than the perfect hair gel. As if he did not just say what he said.Â
Kurt is done. For the night. Maybe forever. Heâs sure heâs not capable of any more small talk with echoes of âYouâre hotâ and âIn all areasâ singing through his head. He quietly sneaks into his bedroom and closes the door. He may be innocent and even naive. But Blaine Anderson was most definitely flirting with him. He was honest, at least about his relationship past (or lack thereof), but Blaine didnât run away. He stayed. And stared. And flirted.Â
This situation is real. And very complicated.Â
He needs to stop blogging.Â
Out of respect for my source, who is a good friend, I need to stop posting on this blog. I will leave the blog up for all the fun gifs, and I may even be back to peruse on occasion. You know I will miss you all. Keep sing!ing, my friends -LimaBlaineFan

Complexities Unknowable- Chapter 7 (Finale!)
Ao3,  1  2  3  4  5  6. MasterPost
Relationships: Deintruality, background Analogince
Warnings: Cursing, Remus-typical language and jokes, Minor self-deprication/insecurity, the olâ âthinks-itâs-unrequited-and-is-oblivious-to-obvious-flirtingâ song and dance, all sympathetic sides, feelings of being left out, also I accidentally projected too hard and now Patton has adhd oops.Â
Word Count: 4,000 (approximately)
Patton felt better than he could ever remember feeling. Sleep came easy as it hadnât for him in years. It was amazing how far a little bit of understanding went.
When all your closest friends are together, you get lonely. Patton wouldnât say that he was jealous, but everything was different now. When he used to spend time with the others, it was four pals spending quality time together! Now when they did, it was a date, except oops! Pattonâs here too! How awkward!
He knew that was unfair. They didnât really think of him that way, of course not. Hence why he didnât bring it up.
It wasnât like that with Remus and Deceit. Even though they were dating, Patton never felt left behind. Their humor was dark and snarky but accessible, not laden with inside jokes that heâd missed out on or specific clues that he didnât pick up.Â
The inclusiveness they treated him with was probably borne from being excluded for so long, though he didnât like to think about that. The fact was, the three were friends now, the past was past, and Patton was drinking in their companionship like fine wine (or, to be more accurate to himself, a grape juice box).
It did not take him long to figure out why he was so fond of their company. You can only spend so much time with Deceit prattling about the dangers of repression before you start to unearth all of those deeply buried feelings.
Heâd fallen for the Dark Sides. Whoops.Â
Could you really blame him? Deceit, suave and clever and funny, yet so gentle when he wanted to be; Remus, bold and brash and energetic, but still with such a deep empathy hidden in him! It was no wonder that the two were already together- anyone who spent as much time with them as they spent with each other would be head-over-heels as well! (Patton was speaking from experience on that one).Â
Initial surprise regarding the feelings had soon faded to something almost comfortable. He was happy to have them as his friends alone, so what was a little crush? No big deal!
...Was what he had thought ten minutes ago, when there wasnât an affectionate Remus wrapped around him, chattering off various compliments.
âI could hold you forever, Patty. You are just the softest, like a water balloon full of blood and organs! But still so ripped, I mean, damn!â
âLanguage,â Patton chided meekly, trying very hard to not dissolve into the ether.
âAwww, you canât make an exception for me? Just this once? Iâll make it worth your while~,â the last part was a hushed sing-song right near Moralityâs ear. He felt his face redden, but forced himself away to refocus on⊠whatever he had been doing.
âNope, no exceptions,â he chirped, going back to- right! Cleaning!
âYou arenât tempted at all? You are so responsible- and thatâs really one of the sexiest qualities there is.â
It was just Remusâ nature to talk to people like that, Patton told himself firmly. The Creative side was just expressing his friendly affection in a way that made sense to him. It came alongside being close to someone so unused to âtypicalâ friendship dynamics, after all. Patton reminded himself of this again and again, denying himself the desperate urge that welled up and told him to respond in kind. He would not purposefully misinterpret Remusâ actions for his own gain, he was better than that!
âThank you, Rem,â just nice, platonic gratitude for nice, platonic compliments.Â
Eventually, finally, mercifully, The Duke had seemed to get bored. He disentangled himself from Patton (appearing rather crestfallen, though the moral trait wasnât sure why), and wandered off.Â
But that, whether for good or for bad, was hardly the end of that.
Deceitâs room was magnificently cozy. It was armchairs that swallowed up whomever sat in them, warm lamps casting down on all surfaces, and jazzy music playing distantly in the background. In other words, the perfect place for a good cup of tea and some sandwiches, not to mention pleasant conversation.
Deceit lounged back in his oversized chair, sending Patton an inscrutable look across their teacups. The side smiled, hoping that was the appropriate response.
âSo,â he drawled, switching the track of their conversation abruptly, âYouâre something of a seamster, arenât you?â
Patton stared blankly for a moment before the term clicked.
âOh, you mean a seamstress?â
âSorry, I thought youâd prefer the masculine, but that really was presumptuous of me,â Deceit amended in apology.Â
âI didnât know that there was a word for it other than seamstress. Hey, isnât it kinda weird how some jobs are like that, when you think about it? Like how thereâs actors and actresses! Why wouldnât âactorâ be all encompassing, ya know?â
Deceit made a vague noise of disinterest and waved his hand, as though manually cutting off the tangent in conversation.
âYes, gender is a distasteful societal construct and an overall prison to our consciences, we both agree- but regardless, you sew. Make clothing and things like our quilt. Isnât that right?â
âRight- yes.â
âDo you make all of your own clothes, then?â
âHmm, sometimes I do- I mostly make stuff for the others. Itâs easier to conjure simple stuff for myself, but making them is a lot of fun!â Morality gestured enthusiastically to the pastel pink sweater that he wore, fluffy and intricately patterned.Â
Deceitâs eyes glinted in a strange, intimidating, and also incredibly hot way. Patton almost forced the attraction out of his mind, before realizing that that kind of repression would definitely be noticed in this part of the Mindscape.Â
âI would have to say you have quite the talent, in that case,â the dishonest trait set down his cup and craned his body over the small table between them, heterochromatic gaze alight with⊠something. Patton cleared his throat.Â
âW-Whyâs that?âÂ
âYou look positively hideous in that, my Dear,â he purred in obvious lies, gloved hands now sitting in the middle of the table and creeping forward by the inch.
âAw, thanks,â Patton croaked, fighting the urge to lean forward in turn.Â
Something strangely disappointed flashed in Deceitâs eyes, but he quickly recovered. He reached out to run a hand along Pattonâs sleeve, the touch lingering against his arm.
âMy my, thatâs just like a cloud. How did you manage that, Darling?â
Morality shivered as Deceit continued to toy with the fabric of his sweater.Â
âI-Itâs probably because itâs made with love! Since thatâs what I am, kinda,â he stammered, desperately trying to keep up the cheery tone.
âIâm inclined to agree. Thereâs beauty in all you touch, Sunshine.â
Oh, the pet names. Patton really couldnât take it; he jerked away and pressed his back against the chair, before he had the chance to do something stupid. Honestly, it was sad how hard this was for him- Deceit was just trying to be a good friend! It wasnât his fault that he showed it with flirts!
âYouâre too sweet,â with distance reestablished, Morality found it much easier to formulate words, âI really appreciate you, Dee.â
Deceit blinked, still hovering over the table. He cleared his throat and snapped back into his seat, suddenly looking the part of the cold and distant Dark Side that Patton had feared just months prior. Guarded, callous, stoic. It was almost frightening, how quickly he changed.Â
âYes, I know you do. Letâs change topics, shall we?â
Patton, feeling quite a bit of whiplash, nodded hesitantly. Their conversation continued to flow normally, for the most part, but he couldnât help feeling that heâd messed up somewhere. There was something heavy over them, but Patton hadnât the slightest idea what it was.Â
For a brief, dizzying moment, he wondered if they were moving backwards. If heâd somehow crossed a line when he was trying so hard not to, and now they were two steps back again. Just the thought of it made him too sick to finish his tea.
Patton didnât have to be worried for long about that particular mishap, thankfully, as a very momentous occasion had swallowed up the fear. Remus and Deceit were going to be joining in their first ever movie night as part of the family!Â
Thereâd been plenty of TV marathons with just them and Pat already, but now theyâd all come together! As part of the group!! Contributing to the voting and the arguing and the joking and the experience of it all!!! Needless to say, Patton was practically bouncing off the walls in his excitement.Â
He plopped down onto the couch with a bowl of popcorn, passing a much larger container of snacks to the amorphous blob of limbs and sass that had once been his three best friends, cuddled together far across from him. Now, all they needed were the Dark- sorry, former Dark Sides.
He wasnât waiting for long before Deceit and Remus appeared in the living room (Remus, thank the lord, wearing actual pajamas). Patton couldnât contain the happy little chirp that escaped him, scrunching himself to one side of the sectional so that theyâd have plenty of room to make themselves at home.
Rather than huddling together in the crook of the curved sofa, however, Deceit immediately gestured for Patton to scooch over, and Remus sat on his other side. Morality was happy (if a bit surprised) to comply with this new seating arrangement, flashing them bright smiles. In light of recent events, being so close with both of them was a little dizzying, but it wasnât too hard to bear. For now.
The conversation on which movie to watch that night was more agreeable than usual, which was nice; they got right to the marathon with little hassle. Patton sighed as the opening credits to Tangled played. At that moment, his life couldnât get any more wonderful. Surrounded by the people he cared about, finally all together, it was perfect.Â
And then, a mere ten minutes in, Remus leaned his chin on Pattonâs shoulder and pressed into his side.Â
âMother Gothel is such a Milf.â
Patton would usually have been put off by the sexual comment, but at that moment Deceit had also seemed to decide that heâd make a good headrest. Which was fine, this was fine. Some mild friendly cuddling- nothing he couldn't handle!
Another twenty minutes later and Remus twisted an arm around his waist. Deceit held Pattonâs hand between a couple of his own. By this point, they were beginning to look a lot like the cuddle pile wrapped up together on the other side of the couch. He was still alive, though!
Neither of the sides beside him moved an inch until the film ended, only begrudgingly letting go when Morality had to get up for a snack refill. Even then, they latched back onto him as soon as he returned. Thus began the second movie, and the beginning of Patton's slow and snuggly death.
Every few minutes, it would be something else: Deceit ran a hand or two through his hair, Remus hooked his leg around Pattonâs, Deceit nuzzled against his neck, Remus laughed into his shoulder, et cetera et cetera et cetera.
Three movies in and he was barely keeping up with the conversation. His head was spinning and he was sure heâd never been so warm, but more than that he felt protected. Even adored. He wasn't often on the receiving end of affection, and the longing brought with it ached, but he never wanted it to end.
Then Virgil yawned (oh yeah, the other three were still there), exiting from the ending credits of All Dogs Go To Heaven and clicking back to the main screen.
âBed time,â he grumbled, a tone so intimate and low and clearly meant for his boyfriends that Patton almost felt bad for overhearing it.Â
âIt is getting quite late,â Logan agreed, standing to stretch. Roman followed suit and dragged a sleepy Anxiety up with him.
Virgil tossed the remote in Patton's general direction and let Roman haul him up in his arms (Deceit caught it with an unoccupied arm, given that the moral sideâs brain was currently jelly). The three bid their goodnights and were gone with a few shimmers of color and a whoosh.
âI guess we should head up, too,â Patton murmured, working very hard to disguise his reluctance. To his surprise, the traits sandwiching him only sank further into his sides.
âOh, youâre absolutely right, itâs so very late,â Deceit rumbled, his face partially hidden in the crook of Pattonâs neck.
âYeah, Iâm exhausted. I canât move,â Remus added, his voice ticking up in a noticeably mischievous way.Â
âI canât either. We should stay, just like this.â
Patton's heart warmed, looking between their adorably sleepy faces. He couldnât lie, the offer was tempting, but in such a situation his brain came back to him. Despite the continued proximity of his crushes, this was something he could handle!Â
âAww, donât you worry about it, Iâve got ya,â and, making very sure that his grip was secure, Patton stood up with Deceit and Remus cradled in either arm. He hardly staggered under the weight of the sides, familiar with such heavy lifting.Â
Remus and Deceit went from sleepiness to pure shock in a matter of milliseconds. Deceit instinctively clung to Patton with all of his limbs, meanwhile Remus gave a startled laugh. Their faces were a matching pink; oh, he could have made them uncomfortable!
âIs this okay? I promise I won't drop you.â
Remus nodded frantically; Deceit squawked in an affirming sort of way.Â
Relief washed over Patton and, satisfied with the response, he sank out in a circle of cyan. For a moment, he feared that the nausea that The Subconscious usually brought him would unsteady him, but he was left pleasantly surprised when he felt none. In fact, it felt just like rising up anywhere else. Just as easy as breathing. Hm.
He didnât dwell on it too long, ascending The Subconsciousâ staircase and bringing his cargo to the first bedroom he saw (Deceitâs). He nudged the door open with his shoe, carrying them right to the bed and dropping them down gently. Remus fell onto his back with a happy hum; Deceit stayed upright and stared at Patton with wide eyes. He huffed a laugh and nudged The Snake's shoulders, and Deceit let himself fall beside his boyfriend, dazed.Â
This was routine for Patton: grabbing the covers and blanketing his friends, as heâd done for probably every other side at one point or another (even Logan, though he would deny it furiously). Once Remus and Deceit were sufficiently tucked in, he stood up and dimmed the lights to near darkness.Â
âAlright, you two have a good night's sleep.â
There was a noise of approval from the pair. Patton gave them one last smile before disappearing back to his own room. To scream into his pillow and think about how gay he was.
Which meant that he didn't get the opportunity to hear the interaction that followed between Dee and Ree.
âWell, that didnât backfire at all.â
âI want him to snap my spine in half like a glow stick. He could break every bone in my body and I would thank him,â Remus replied dreamily. Deceit hummed in agreement.Â
âPerhaps we should try a more⊠direct approach, as this doesnât seem to be working in our favor.â
âI dunno about you, but Iâm feeling pretty fuckinâ favored right now.â
âI was suggesting that we be more-â he very nearly gagged, âStraightforward.â
âMore like gay-forward, actually,â Remus corrected, âBut Iâm with you! You know I love being direct.â
âNow when I say direct, I donât mean blunt.â
âI donât understand the difference.â
âI know you donât. Let me do the talking.â
âFine by me! Whatever works to get him to pick me up and throw me!â
Deceit rolled his eyes, settling his arms around Remus.Â
âYes, yes- but Iâm actually wide awake right now, and Iâd love it if you keep being loud all night, Dearest.âÂ
âOh, right,â Remus lowered his voice, curling himself around the lying side in turn. Together, their breathing slowed. As they drifted to sleep, the feeling of Patton's arms around them still ghosted their skin.
Patton was cleaning furiously. Heâd already reorganized the entirety of his room- twice, for that matter- and now heâd moved to the Common area. It hadnât been so much as a week since his last tidying session, and the Mindpalace was pretty much spotless, but that was irrelevant. It was as good a distraction as any.
Maybe he was avoiding the trifecta of trifling traits- aka his best friends- because he knew that theyâd ask about why he was being so weird lately. Maybe he was avoiding Deceit and Remus, the reason that heâd been weird lately. Maybe he was just avoiding his thoughts about them, because seeing them all cozied up and sleepy and adorable a couple nights ago really hadnât helped settle his growing infatuation with them. Most likely, he was avoiding all three.Â
But he had failed to take into account that The Common Area was not the best place for avoiding stuff. Given that it was. A Public Space.Â
âPatton,â began the voice of Deceit behind him, in a tone deadly serious.
He spun around to see a very embarrassed Dee and an immensely giddy Remus. Well, Shhhhh-ucks. Shucks.Â
âHey!â Patton tossed the sponge in his hand back into the sink and pretended that he wasnât freaking out at that exact moment.Â
Deceit hardly registered the greeting, continuing:Â
âWe need to talk to you.â
âWhat about?â
The Snake opened his mouth, and promptly closed it. His eyes had widened concerningly, and he cast his gaze downwards.
âWe-â he cut off again. Pattonâs worry was mounting.Â
âDeeDee?â Remus prompted, elbowing his partnerâs side, âI thought you were doing the talking?â
âI-I can do this, Iâm not tapping out,â his voice was frenzied, hiding himself behind The Duke in a rare display of fear.Â
âGuys? Is something wrong?â Patton approached them, all of his nervousness about his feelings forgotten in the face of this distress, âWhatever it is, you can talk to me.â
Remus gave him a warm smile, not hesitating for a breath.Â
âWe came to tell you youâre hot and we wanna date you! But, you know how bad Dee is with words! Anyway, whaddya say?â
Deceit, for his part, nodded in deep resignation. And Pattonâs head reeled.
He could hear, audibly hear his heart thumping against his ribs. It was probably as simple as a confession could get, but regardless he found himself frantically replaying the words over and over and over again. Heâd never imagined- not even for a second- even the thought of it-Â
Mentally, he took a step back. Roman, Logan, and Virgil were an item. Remus and Deceit were an item. And Patton was a third party, paternal and caring and watching out for all of them and their misadventures, though he knew heâd never be entirely part of it. But maybe, now he could be. After everything, they wanted not to just be with him, but to be with him.
It didnât process.
âI- You- What- Me?â
Because there is good in this world, Remus (correctly) interpreted his flustered stammering as surprise and not distaste. The smile that he almost always wore widened and he took a step forward, dragging the mildly less panicked Deceit along with him.
âYou,â he confirmed, shimmying excitedly in place, âDefinitely you. And us.â
âI second that not-at-all vague sentiment. Weâve grown unfortunately fond of you,â Deceit uncoiled himself from Remus enough to be seen clearly.
Patton saw it. He saw, in full light and understanding, the subtext in their previous interactions. And now that he did, he had no idea how heâd missed it. A testament to the power of his insecurity, probably. But that didnât matter, because they liked him back.
Patton failed to words. But, they were very near, and he was very happy, and in the light of new context, he figured that they wouldnât mind the response he opted for instead.Â
He hopped forward with a delighted squeal, scooping the traits up in his arms. Remus started cackling and immediately returned the hug with just as much fervor. Deceit wasnât far behind for once, allowing his face to split with a smile equal parts shock, relief, and glee.Â
âOh, I love you two so much!â Patton laughed out, burying his face in Remusâ hair.Â
âI love you back!â Remus said in kind.Â
Deceit attempted a dramatic groan, but he failed to tamp down his grin.Â
âIt could be said that I feel something love-adjacent for the both of you. Perhaps.âÂ
Pattonâs mind was swimming in joy, so much so that it barely registered when Remus tilted his head back only to lean forward, and oh wow, were they kissing. Pattonâs vision was all bright blurs of color, and he melted. The creative trait pushed up against him, rough in much the same way as an overly excited large dog. Patton hardly had time to reciprocate the kiss before Remus broke off completely from the hug, unflustered and unaffected by what heâd done, save for a light blush.
âNow you guys!â
Oh, he was still hugging Deceit.Â
âOnly if itâs okay?â heâd barely gotten the apprehensive words out of his mouth when it was suddenly occupied, and the world went back to hazey vibrance. Deceit was almost skittish, a barely-there press against his lips like he expected Patton to shove him away. He didnât, by the way. Rather, he slid a hand up to rest between the sideâs shoulder blades, bringing him nearer.Â
After a moment, they pulled back slowly, not letting go of each other.Â
âThat was hot, ngl,â Remus chimed from his perch on the counter.
Patton was overcome with a fit of giggling, energy building in him. He ended his and Deceitâs very drawn-out embrace to satisfy the necessity of full body wiggle. He was in Silly Mode, there was no avoiding this until it had been exorcised via The Joyful Movementâą. Patton flapped his hands at his sides and shook his hair out, laughing all the while. Today could not possibly get better!
But he remembered his audience of two. He looked up, hair fluffed up and face flushed with fading excitement and a tinge of self-consciousness.Â
âSorry, I got over-excited...â
âThat,â Deceit announced solemnly, âWas astoundingly adorable.â
âIâve died a gruesome death,â Remus rolled off the counter and onto the ground with a crash (and some bone crunches thrown in, probably for fun), âMy heart overloaded, it has burst. Thereâs blood everywhere, itâs in my eyes, Iâm now also blind.âÂ
Pattonâs relief escaped in another bout of laughter, and something lifted in him. A weight that had been there for so long that he hadnât even remembered it was there, nor how it felt to be without it. But now that it had left, he didnât know how he had been living with it for so long. There was airiness in his chest, a clarity in his mind, a general sense of contentment rushing over him. This wasnât a face he put on for others benefit, it wasnât a fleeting enjoyment of one thing or another- what it was was a deep, thrumming joy that overcame him.Â
He was happy.Â
Naturally, Patton could not finish cleaning due to. Circumstances. Those circumstances being, he was finally letting himself indulge in some quality time with his new boyfriends (an identifier he very much liked the sound of).Â
The trio were half-laying on the Common roomâs couch, a tangle of various limbs. Remus leaned against a pile of pillows, and Patton rested his head on his chest. Draped across the both of them was Deceit, fastening all of his arms around them in a manner simultaneously protective and needy. Oh, and also very, very cute.Â
âThis was totally what I was planning from the beginning,â his voice reverberated through Pattonâs chest, âGod, I am so great at plotting.â
Remus clicked his tongue agreeably, pressing a kiss to the top of Moralityâs head.
âYeah, I was pretty sure we were gonna end up killing you, Pumpkin. This wasnât even in the ballpark of outcomes.âÂ
Patton hummed in thought, cuddling himself closer to his partners.
âI dunno. Iâd say your plan turned out pretty well.â

Hello Iâm the person who requested âI Don't Go In For Sweetsâ and...just let me begin by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for dedicating your time and your energy to write it, it was absolutely perfect and everything I wanted! I sent you this request the day before a huge exam (yes, instead of studying but thatâs another story lol) and surprisingly, you posted the fic a day after I got my results and saw that I passed so it felt a bit like some reward and yeah I know you didnât do it on purpose but still, it was amazing! Now letâs dive into a deeper analysis (I like to do this but itâs quite long, donât feel forced to read it, no pressure!)
First, the very beginning: Polly and Tommyâs talk and how can I say this? It was so good, so well written I was actually seeing the scene as clearly as if I was watching the last episode of s3, I could actually hear them talk and see them move and it was too good to even feel like reading! Iâm also so grateful you had the idea to bring the impact of Tommyâs motherâs death on him because...itâs not something we see a lot in the show but Iâve always been convinced that he had always been very affected by it and he would never want the same for his son.
Now, the wedding day: âThe fact that everything about this wedding was so obscenely different from his first did soothe his guilt a bitâ this kind of sums up a lot: Tommy compares all of this situation to what he had and rejoices over the fact itâs not as perfect, as beautiful, as great as what he had with Grace because it makes him feel slightly better, he isnât betraying her as much as if he was enjoying marrying a new woman but then...she arrives and he canât help it but find her pretty.
You perfectly showed this inner conflict of always having Grace in mind, always reminding himself of her and how better she was, this is not something heâs doing because he enjoys it but because itâs the best solution.
And of course he makes sure his opinion is known, he doesnât smile back at the the altar, the big wedding kiss he gave to Grace is here, a simple, almost nonexistent brush on the lips, he doesnât try to get to know his wife, on their way home, he has this revelatory lapsus âI've already asked the maids to take them up to your-our roomâ because deep down, itâs not his room or their room, it will only be hers because he wonât sleep in it much and he shows it a moment later when he doesnât even sleep in the same room as her on their wedding night! I mean the scene where sheâs waiting for him all nervous and giggly because she knows what happens...or at least she thinks she knows but then she wakes up alone in the morning, no âhusbandâ in sight. Then comes breakfast, Tommy introduces her to Charlie (who wasnât even at the wedding!!!) like he would present his new nanny because in a way...thatâs what she is. He didnât marry that girl because he wanted it but because it was something he knew his son needed. I really loved the fact you didnât make Charlie love reader instantly because as kind hearted as he may be, heâs still a child who suddenly lives with an unknown woman his dad doesnât even seem to like but one little discussion is enough to make him warm up to her and yeah I liked seeing this, it was very well done!
Then we get to see Tommy couldnât care less about his wife and a thing kind of stroke me: reader has insomnia sometimes and Tommy doesnât seem to worry or even think about it, he just sees it as more occasion for her to talk to him and ugh please no! And it shows how detached he can be which is so so in character! Afterwards you wrote about how he didnât invite her to family meetings and stuff which I think was important to mention and maybe you didnât think it this way but he keeps her away of very important part of his life: the business and the local bar he spends time with his family which is quite a...special place because thatâs where he met Grace, thatâs where their story began and family meetings? Inviting her would mean sheâs part of their family, they trust her enough to welcome her but 1) he doesnât really care about her enough to trust her and 2) would grace really have been invited to these meetings? Considering what she did? Definitely not so in not inviting his new wife, he doesnât give her an advantage of being more welcomed in the family than grace was because, again, sheâll never be enough, sheâll never be grace. And it was so important to show this and you did it so beautifully, so subtly, wow!
The birthday party is also a great way to show that reader has a great relationship with everyone except her own husband and their convo in the office afterwards bluntly stated that. Tommy is so heartless, so cold, so...awful towards the woman he married! I really hated him in this moment because clearly sheâs trying, she wants to make things alright but he will not let it, he will push her away no matter how harsh he has to be. And there is no apology, no compassion, nothing, he doesnât care. He knows how bad his words hurt but he owes nothing to her.
And even when heâs awful to her, she still offer her time and her attention. He comes home completely drunk and considering the way he treated her, she could let him deal with his terrible state alone but she wonât, heâs her husband after all...I really loved how you turned that scene, we can see some of readerâs... I donât know what to call it but so far, she let him have his space and now, when he rejects her help, she still gives him a hand. And then he compliments her, out of the blue and yeah heâs completely drunk but it feels true. And even better, he apologizes and explains his awful behavior and it was essential to have this! It was essential for reader to hear it from him that she didnât do anything bad, it wasnât her fault or anything, he just struggled with understanding what her place was. Even better, she reminds him she doesnât want to take Graceâs place.
It was everything he needed to understand because right after this, he allows himself to let go a bit and then...a little bit more and again...some more until finally the stables scenes arrives! And my oh my! How much more beautiful could this story get? The fact they bond over something Tommy loves is just...amazing! It allows reader to see a gentle side of him because we all know how Tommy gets whenever he sees a horse, it could and will make any woman fall in love with him. And this scene holds so much...power and emotion, she trusts him enough to let him guide the horse even though she doesnât know how to ride it and he assures her he wonât let her fall which is so important because he accepts the fact that she trusts him and he want to be worthy of that trust which is a big step because it means he cares. And they have the loveliest moment, just the two of them, no grace clouding his mind, no hatred, no unnecessary talk, just a husband and a wife enjoying the nice weather. He helps her off of the horse and he grabs her waist but he doesnât feel the need to take off his hand and it shows progress, it shows he enjoys having her close and he looks at her, itâs the first thing that came to his mind, her beauty and now he doesnât feel guilty about it. He stares at her, he enjoys it and he doesnât want to stop. And finally because well, this story couldnât just stop there, it reached a whole new peak in beauty: their real, true first kiss. It doesnât mean we have a fairytale and happily ever after but it feels like a true promise of better things coming up, the kiss he gave her on their wedding day (as a way to seal their wedding vows) was given...reluctantly to say the least but now, he was promising her to be better in the future and truly respect those vows and itâs just the most perfect ending this story could have! It was just a magnificent, so beautifully well written story I donât even know what to say anymore (and I think Iâve already said way more than I should be allowed to!) than it was perfect, youâre so talented and Iâm so thankful you agreed to write this! I hope I havenât killed you with my pages of review lol! Have a wonderful day <3
Ps. I didnât proof read this so sorry for mistakes and nonsensical sentences :)
Hello!
First of all, thank you so much for writing me to tell me how much you appreciated your fic. I really like knowing that the person who requested a specific fic enjoyed it so, It means the world!
And just look at that! I certainly didnât know anything about your exam, but what a marvelous most serendipitious coincidence! It makes everything seem much more magical, donât you think? The universe never ceases to amaze me! đ„°
Also, thank you for the analysis. I always like to write things so that they go beyond words in order to convey feelings and stir deeper emotions and Iâm so glad you not only perceived them but also liked what I was trying to project!
I too, feel in my bones that Tommyâs motherâs death affected him a lot. Maybe itâs not something that keeps him awake at night (or all nights) but I definitely feel like it is one of the thoughts he keeps on the back of his mind and is constantly nagging him. And polly of course is one of if not the only one who can see it.
As for the wedding and their marriage in general, I did want to show Tommy having this conflict because as we know, our man doesnât let go of things easily. And like Tatiana Petrovna once said, his fear is freedom. Im not saying that Grace stopped him from being free, but he insisted on staying in the past, and when the reader comes up sheâs basically carrying with her this humongous banner that reads FUTURE.
He does think the reader is pretty and he knows that his family accepts her and his son loves her but he doesnât want to give in, heâs almost afraid of doing it, so what is the easiest thing to do? Push her away. And still when heâs awful to her she helps him because I want to believe she can also look behind the walls he so desperately put up around him. In the end I didnât want to make it like *poof! They magically fell in love! * but like you said, I wanted it to end with a promise of better things to come.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write. I enjoyed analyzing Tommyâs mind with you and I hope you have a lovely day as well!
P.S: Congratulations on your exam results! đ€đ
